what happened to sebastian ingrosso?

while the swedish house mafia, prydz, angello and axwell, seem to only be getting stronger it seems that ingrosso is disappearing...
i have heard almost nothing from him during the summer...
he has played in very few events...he wasnt at creamfields or many of those big parties...
he's not even playing or producing together with angello lately...
seems that axwell and angello are producing (supermode - tell me why) and djing together (b2b @ tokyo sept. 1), which wasnt vert common before...
so was ingrosso left aside?

Hopefully he's out thinking about creating something worthwhile and not some cheap pap. I've got faith in him to be innovative.

Steve Angello fell off in 2006!

he's the only one together with prydz that I still respect. take for instance that b2b set you're telking about. That was an absolute disgrace. Those guys should be locked up for still playing out those tracks. Big up for Ingrosso.

ciao

Dude whens the last time you listened to their stuff? Seb and Steve are producing a Buy Now album right now... Steve's mixing has fallen so crappy i refuse to listen to a set of him, and Seb's recent sets have been pretty sweet. You can hear them here

so you're saying ingrosso doesnt want any part of that? he doesnt want to highlight events and be in the top and all over the world like angello and axwell are now? bullshit...he was the same than angello a couple of months back...
i think there has to be a better reason he's not mentioned together with angello anymore...

on another note...
i can agree with you about angello, if you see a tracklist of one of his recent sets you have to make sure it isnt july or august 2005 instead of 2006 because he really hasnt add or change one song from his playlist for more than a year already...

axwell is another story...i love axwell...his creamfields set was awesome and so was his cafe mambo set...check them out...i dont even want to start talking about his productions...his remix of madonna's jump is sickk...

believe me i know every single fckin production ever put out by any of the swedish house mafia guys...
it is just weird to me that it used to be that when you saw angello's name, ingrosso's name was right there with it...now it's not like that...
and im sure is not because of the tracklisting reason because ingrosso will play whatever just to be in creamfields or any one of those events...

Stingray. Spike through the chest. Very sad. Went out doing what he loved most.

well, sebastian did do the edit of the julien jabre track- swimming places earlier this spring which was somewhat of a hit this summer. i am pretty sure he and steve also did the fireflies track- can't get enough (with alexandra prince). [not a lot of info has been released about it, but i am almost positive that track is produced by both of them].

anyway, yeah steve's tracklists are so stale i have no interest to even listen at all lately...axwell's EM was alright, sebastian had a few mixes this summer that were pretty decent. i talk to seb occasionally so i know he's at least alive.

man i wish i had the balls to just IM him...

I see what you mean now deibero, but honestly it's not because Seb doesn't want to be apart of whats going on... As I mentioned before hes still producing with Steve for the Buy Now album, and is working hard on Refune right now as well. Richard Grey & Sebastian Ingrosso - Games People Play came out only about 2 months ago, and that wasn't even near Steve's realm. Trust me... Seb is still alive and kickin'

yes he is alive and kicking

"i am big, europan man, i can handle all of you"

Agreed, though I do not have this "faith" you speak of.

ingrosso was recently playing at Exit Festival here in Serbia and will also play next saturday at some Marlboro event... that's just 2 months difference, DJs usually try to avoid this place and come every 2-3 years..

thanks man, thats the kind of answer i was looking for...
maybe that means he's too busy in the studio to be playing last year's track together with angello?...lol

just remembered after closing a set with this song that they've also come out with an even new song together (Steve & Seb) under the guise of Fireflies.

Fireflies feat. Alexandra Prince - I Can't Get Enough (Ian Carey Dub) =

I'm really getting tired of these retarded mislabels. They're talking about Tisto - Traffic (JD Sebastian Remix)
