Which one looks better?

HP 6828:

OR

O2 Atom:

Specs are more or less same..so it comes down to cuteness...

What you guys think; which one should I get? I am very exited about this; it will give me mobility and I dont have to sit in front of my comp whole day...

they look exactly the same.

Posted by jdat on Sep-05-2006 17:30:

they are both the same from a hardware point of view but it appears the Atom has it's own firmware.

From looking online it appears O2 technical support is rubbish, and you have to keep in mind you would be dealing with them exclusively if there was any form of soft or harware issues with the phone.

So apparently it's HP that wins this one.

Otherwise from a colour point of view I would have picked the Atom.

Yeah that is the problem with O2, I heard their after-sales service sucks..

There is slight modification in speaker area for HP model which I like..

Edit:

Here is the product brochure for HP one or those who are interested:

I've been with o2 since they were BT Cellnet here, roughly 2000, and I have never had a single problem bar the network jam everyone gets on new years eve. I emailled them when i got a new phone from my brother & unlocked it & they set me up with gprs & email & everything with responses within 30 minutes from each query. I couldn't rate them higher for it.

Actually O2 version of that cell was my choice before, but than I realised that I dont really need a QWERTY keyboard, its what makes this cell bulky; i am not much into SMS'ing and email also I just need to receive them and read it.. seldom do I need to reply back..

But that cell does looks / and is awesome!

I know a hell lot of people that still use that one.. and a lot of them high placed corporate guys.. I think its the best no-frills cellphone anyone can have after Vertu cells :

Thanks for reply guys, I have booked HP Model today!

Price: 755 USD

I donno I just like it in the brochuse and the metallic silver color does the magic for me.. I dont like that piano black color in O2.. no gloss nothing.. service I heard is also poor..also HP model is a bit cheaper..

One more thing, this HP cell is made for and released ONLY in Asia right now.. so if you search for it in HP US website you will not get it.. but you will get in HP AUS website..
