Infected Mushroom is an Israeli psychedelic trance duo which has attained significant popularity from the late 1990s to the present time (2006). Formed by Erez Aizen and Amit Duvdevani (also known as Duvdev) in the city of Haifa, located in the northern parts of Israel, the duo has garnered a large international fanbase. Infected Mushroom are known for their consistent sonic evolution exemplified by the subsequent albums The Gathering (1999), Classical Mushroom (2000), BP Empire (2001), Converting Vegetarians (2003), IM The Supervisor (2004), and Vicious Delicious . great show... they played some SICK tracks. Dan Efex was really good too. I don't listen to a lot of psy-trance anymore - used to listen to more in the 90's - but this has kind of reinvigorated my interest. I love it when shows do that. pics pending.

I'm not a huge psy trance guy, but I absolutley loved this one. There's something about groups that bust out live performances that ups the energy of a show a very noticeable amount. I would definitely see these guys again the next time they come to Chicago.

I just remembered something... they played a short version of "Personal Jesus"... was pretty damn sweet. It was pretty amazing.. so amazing that I forgot about it, until I had a flashback, just now. :< DM ftw.
