M.I.K.E searchin for a vocalist!

Interested in being part of a M.I.K.E. production?

Think you have the talent to work with the mastermind behind projects such as: PUSH, PLASTIC BOY, M.I.K.E.

M.I.K.E. is currently looking for a female singer to be part of special upcoming electro house - progressive project.


A typical trance/dance used vocal is not what we want. Instead, we are searching for a deep, passionate and smooth voice.

Inquiries and samples can be sent via his myspace page( http://www.myspace.com/clubeliterecordings), or linked thru YOUSENDIT..along with some preview samples of the vocalist.

All samples will be reviewed by Mike and the selected vocalist will be notified via email.

Closing date will take place on 24.09.2006.

the only stuff i enjnoy from mike is trance.. or used to enjoy, iv never heard a house project of his, remember hearing some progressive trance... but that still mantains trance elments.. but dont know if it was just a mike production or a remix of a mike production.

what's the problem? M.I.K.E. is just expanding to other genres, there's nothing wrong with that. Certainly not cause he will still be producing trance like he has always done. He probably will be producing less trance than he used to, but that's going on for a little while now. I think it's even better, now he'll produce a great trance tune once in a while and that track will certainly be more appreciated.

So if you don't like this new project you don't have to listen to it and you can concentrate on his trance aliases and productions. We can only give our comments on this new project and its track , we can't dictate what Mike has to produce.

but it's sad to see that one of the best and most respected trance producers is going to produce some electro house shit only because this shit is popular now.
prog. house - ok, but electro-fucking gay house (with vocals) is just too much

do something more motivating for the community, spread the announcement..
m.i.k.e. knows what he does and what he needs to make his sound perfected.

it's not cause I have a picture in my avatar I give M.I.K.E. my blind support. If something's bad I'll say it, I just don't see the use of bitching over something I don't have any influence on (like you're doing). M.I.K.E IS going to produce that track if you like it or not ...

and if he's really in it for the money, there are other things to produce to even earn more money

could be, but than there are other genres in which also much money can be earned. He's a very versatile producer so I'm sure there will be some sort of music he CAN produce and earn more money by. You think he's doing it for the money now, I'm not sure of that. I don't think M.I.K.E. really is a producer who's purely in it for the money, he has to support the projects he does otherwise he wouldn't do them. That's the perception I have, ... but I don't know the man personally so I can be wrong.

Eather way, the man has to earn a living and now he's trying to do that by producing a house track. I don't mind, you apparently do. I'll decide afterwards if the track's worth it. Chance will be I don't like it, I'm not into vocal tracks, but maybe this one can surprise me

i perfectly got your point. maybe you didn't get my. this is forum and i can bitch as long as i want. people are bitching about tiesto, avb, a&b and other pop artist all the time, and it doesn't change anything.

look, his productions under m.i.k.e or push or whatever alias will still be very appreciated by me, and i'll still love them no matter what he'll do, but he'll fall in my eyes as a person after this electro-house experiment.

we don't know the real reason why he's doing this electro-house expermiment. Maybe he just wants to try something new, learn from it and improve his production capacities by it. Would that be so wrong? I personally don't think so.

So what's the reason he would 'fall' in you eyes as a person? The only reason I can think of is because you believe he's doing it soley for the money (which you can't say for sure).

and what would you say about his future plans than? He has already declared he's interested in doing something in rock ... not for the moment but in the future

Mike's had that electro influence in his tracks before it ever became a fad. I don't see how he's jumping on the bandwagon now.

why doesn't he try doing idm, prog. breaks or some other experimental stuff. if he really want to experiment... but picking one of the most popular sub-genres today among 150+ other sub-genres of edm is not coincidence.

after all, we all don't have to love him. you are his fan, i'm not, and that's perfectly fine. i just express my thoughts about this situation.

You do have a point ... but maybe he chose this genre because he feels most related to it? We can speculate all day long, we will never know for sure.

Love is a big word . I don't see myself as a 'fan' by the way, I don't really like that word. I see myself more as a person who likes a lot of M.I.K.E's productions, but I'm still capable of being objective and critical. And I also just tried to express my thoughts

electro house or prog whatever has wide perspectives in my opinion, doesn't need to me the swedish house maffia kinda style?!

so, like someone quoted before, Mike was already in some electro stuff even before you all knew what edm was

he got the skills to do what he wants, so if you all don't like it, skipp it, easy
he got my vote!
