I would think Australia would be far well known for other things than having a fast firing weapon. How about the worst tasting exported beer (Foster's) or harbouring the worlds most stupid looking domestic animals as well as most dangerous animals.

Well the charge is set off electronically, but it's still powder based. They've actually started developing hand held weapons using similar technology along with anti-missile/rocket defense systems. It's only a matter of time before we win the war on nature.

Yeah, it is.

Ballistic simply refers to the fact that the projectile moves due to its own momentum and gravity. A bullet fits this description.
