Why does this always happen to me. USPS sux!

The other day I ordered a piece to fix the flash on my camera.

It had delivery confirmation and USPS says it was delivered today at 12:27pm.

But I have no package. No where to be found. And because it's "delivered" in USPS's system, there's probably nothing I can do about it.

I'm so fucking pissed!!!!

Don't want to have to order another one and then ask that company if they can do signature confirmation. Such a hassle.

usps lol! fed ex is the only decent courier, usps is the worst by a long shot...

This is the first time I've ever had an issue with USPS and packages, oddly enough. I've had so many problems with FedEx and UPS in the past, it's not even funny.

Anyhow, the place I ordered it from ships exclusively with USPS. I didn't have a choice.

I have a feeling that the USPS guy was lazy and didn't want to walk up the stairs and left the package at the very bottom of my steps and it got stolen. I think this because I had some other package delivered when I first moved here and that's where I found it...and it was partially opened!

The thing about delivery guys -- if a signature isn't required, all they are required to do is leave the package the base of your steps or curbside. I learned this in Florida when I ordered a TV and I found it way out next to my fucking mailbox/driveway. Was like WTF! Thanks UPS! 99% of them are courteous enough to take it all the way to your door, but they technically don't have to.

ouch, hope you find your package.

Just bug USPS alot, they might be able to help anyway.

Then call up Canon and order the parts through them

my buddy's dad was the postmaster for humboldt county... even he won't ship important things via usps

I got a USPS package today. It was supposed to contain my ticket for the LPSF Afterparty, but when I opened it, there was nothing. Although, that'd be Grooveticket's fault, not USPS'. Either way...

How fast did you get the parts from Canon?

Waiting to hear back from USPS. If nothing by Monday, will have to reorder the stupid piece.

Took about a week, I just got it today. Most parts are at the NJ factory, although they said some might be in Cali.

They ship via UPS ground for $5. I think you can get 2 day FedEx for $9.

I hate USPS they lost my oakleys and then dicked around forever finally either tomarrow or monday i'll be getting my new pair 1 1/2 months later.

Haha, maybe in a couple weeks I'll be laughing. I called them and they said it was sitting right in the office and they were going to mail it out today. Hopefully it makes it into the package this time.

good news. the package mysteriously showed up in my mailbox.

I'm gonna guess he scanned the package yesterday and then just forgot to put it in!!

My flash is fixed. But holy crap was I afraid that I was gonna rip all the tiny wires off their solding.
