update on southern sun

hi everybody, last weeks . months, there's a discussion going on about whether or not its nelly furtado who is doing the vocals of southern sun, i'm also a member of the forum on oakenfodls website, and i asked over there who was doing the vocals and if it is nelly furtado, and i now can end all the discussion, here's the answer of the moderator of oakenfolds forum:
The vocal on Southern Sun is by Carla Warner an Australian artist that Paul met whilst in LA. The Album which Southern Sun is on is in its last stages and a release date is being set at the moment, watch this site for all the latest news.

Thanks for clearing that up. What exactly do you mean by "album"? Is Oakenfold making an entire artist album, or are you just talking about the vinyl release of southern sun?

i dunno, its the answer of the moderator of oakeys forum, but i think he means oakeys album which is coming out with a half year (i think i've read that on oakeys site, or at the perfecto-fc site)

Wow..... i woulda bet my car that it was Nelly Furtado. There's some instances where I 100% know that it's her. Thanx for the info.

Exactly. Sounds exactly like her at some points, but not the chorus. I don't think Iio sounds anything like Nelly Furtado. Ah well, so basically Nelly has no credits to her name for any of the great electronic songs released so far haha!! And yeah, i'm glad I didn't bet my car
