[psy] ANTIMERE - Blast to Flip. (FULL 320kbps; original)

*Updated*

Hi all,

This track I did back in the beginning of the year & it was originally fullon dark psy with extemely heavy distorted leads & hard thumpen bass. I thought it could exist on another plane, so I renamed the track, restructured it, subtled it down & lightened it up a bit. The track is now a bit more funkier than the heavy version, & i had fun making it.

Run Time: 8:28
Size: 20 MB
Genre: Funky psy
BPM: 143

Feedback is very welcome. Any tips for enhancement will be much appreciated.

Intresting track, weird stuff going on in the song and thats really great.
I have heard your earlier work and this song has the same crazy style almost..
Like it very much, keep it coming!

Right proper psychedelic intro.

Now that's what I call bass. Maybe there's too much?

Yeah, by 2:43, I can't really tell what's going on in the low end. You need to tighten that area up. In particular make the kick a bit more distinguishable.

I love that bending pad at 5:38.

The mixing could use some work, especially in the low end. I like the ideas though.

cool intro
nice chunky funky synths, they're all kind of like percussion lines done right and with fat synths instead of samples.
2:22 love the little synth melody that comes in here, it's got character.
3:27 nice little change that messes with my head
Only thing about this tune that pisses me off is there's so many awesome builds, but because the kick is virtually non-existant, the breaks are always underwhelming. Fix up that kick pronto!! Everything else is really awesome, I love it.

This isn't very dark...

I was expecting something much eviller. I can see something like being played at 10 AM for sure.

Nope, this isnt dark trance. But I do have a heavier & darker version of this song which exists under a different name.

Hey.
I like the funkyness of this track, the melodies is very good..

I dont like the bassline so much, sounds very cheap and is not delivering so much, i do like the pattern of it but not the sound.
The overall sound is muddy, try to clean up the low frequencies.

I like the bended choir in the intro, cool

The main lead has a cool sound and a very good melody.
