Songs Sean Tyas SHOULDNT Have Remixed

ok..
I m loving most everything Tyas is churning out... and although he s got waaay too much out in too little time, he hasnt become too repetitive or monotonous..

His productions are mint, but I think a couple of his remixes arent quite up to the mark...

1. PPK - Resurrection (Sean Tyas and Lawerence mix)
2. Tali and Meth - I Can Take You There (Sean Tyas trance remix)

any you guys can think of?

lol... the title of this thread makes me laugh. Sean Tyas is the new Armin and Markus?

legend b - lost in love
insigma - open your eyes (even if it rocks, it's not a remix, it's take the insigma version, add a pvd kick & stronger bassline & in one version a terrible piano, it works but it's hardly worth a full release

someone just post his remix discography

I never heard that remix of Legend B..but the remix of Insigma was un nessecary. He shouldnt of remixed it, leave classics like that alone, or even classics in general!

I also find it funny how many DJs would rather play his remix and not the original (even though its a bit old).

so why all the hype?

Posted by DJ Patski on Sep-10-2006 02:53:

wtf he remixed PPK's ressurection?? where can I get a sample.

Posted by Nell on Sep-10-2006 02:56:

all he does is remix classic tracks and they all just sound like bloody 2006 updates on them, nothing new added etc etc. nothing special to see here at all really . guy needs to learn how to write/produce an original 'future classic' of his own imo.

you people care too much. dont listen to it again if you dont like it.

If only it was possible.

Posted by Psychotron on Sep-10-2006 04:55:

well i guess i dont have that problem. i rarely listen to the live sets put out by the big guys. i find my tracks by just listening to them as theyre released. so if i dont like it i never have to hear it again, heh.

wow hes remixed resurrection? i want to hear that, its a good tuen but could do with an update.

wasn't trying to own him, i have nothing but <3 for Haak. One of the few ta producers who once signed hasn't turned into a jerkass.

for the guy who says his remix of lost in love was good, listen to red jerrys remix. that is perfect, but the track itself is meant to be at 160bpm, it's meant to be ultra-energetic etc

Open Your Eyes,

He isnt worthy of even going near it.

Personally i haven't heard anything from Sean Tyas, so i suppose it's perfectly possible. Perhaps you're listening to the wrong djs/sets/stations in the first place? Just a thought.

Posted by isoterra on Sep-10-2006 11:56:

random fact: most sean tyas remixes sound a whole lot better if you cut out the breakdowns

(beam - on your mind excluded )
