Music was incredible, played some really nice deep dark tracks classic sounds of Aria, and the reason i go. Crowd was great saw the usuals stereohead, mitsutranza, a couple others there didnt get to meet, oh yeahhh and the cowgirls, at one point they were both on a speaker on each side of the booth looked pretty crazy, they looked identical, trippy. Anyways yeah overall great night to be done again!!

Posted by Ravemontreal on Sep-12-2006 13:29:

BIG thanks to every TA that showed up,

again I had massive fun and having so much time to build up a set is really a privilege that Aria gives me. I love those nights, you can feel that there's something special going on.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Hopefully, we will do it again sometime in November... ;-)

So happy that Stereohead came, she's just a bundle of joy, and Mitsutranza such a nice guy. People like them, Trigun and his girlfriend, X-cube, the Cowgirls, Rm crew and Mp3 crew, are what those nights are all about.

Don't remember meeting you licks?

Review: Creator @ Aria

Well better late than never,

WOW what a night, thank you Martin once again you killed us on the dance floor. You dropped some excellent tracks with some good build ups. You truly understand your crowd and know how to leave us in a great mood.

Thank you for the love and emotions you transmit through your music.

P.S. Big UP to JFL for allowing Creator to do his magic for 6hrs.

JM & Gio

Anyone who's read my reviews of Martin's 6 hour sets knows what to expect...so I won't go into soooooo much detail (even tho it would be worth it!)

Got there at 4:15am, my lil DJ buddy Creator blasting some sick shit ALREADY...place was VERY nicely filled up, good looking people, and not the kind that BOTHER you on a dancefloor...lots of peeps were simply just exchanging smiles and looks of awe with me the whole night...which is EXACTLY how I love communicating my passion for music with others in an afterhours...no names, no words, no hello, just a look that explains it all...something like this: lol...

Heard 3 tracks Lawler is currently spinning which made me go ! Then I heard Club Therapy!!! (Yes, the track I used for way-too-long-sig lol)...1st time hearing Martin drop it, so that was extra special for me What was that remix?!?!? Siccccckkkkkk!

A big hello to all that were there (ya know who you are!!!)...Shawn and Piper...BIG mistake leaving at the early time that you did...you know you missed great beats afterwards!!! Mitsutranza, my brotha!!! Thanks for staying with me til the end...I'm alwaysssssss the only one who wants to these days in our clique and you're almost alwaysssssss the only one who stays with me hehehe...so thank you for that XCube, always a pleasure , licks, we've been seeing a bit too much of each other in afterhours and clubs lately LOL!!! but you know, I love meeting other EDM freaks hehe ...3-G/A (wtf is up with ur nickname, it's sick!) nice to see you there too ...anyone else I forgot? Oh yeah...

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a HUGE BIG MASSIVE GRATEFUL thank you to Martin, for, well, ummm...let's see...making it all happen, really. Without you, NONE of that greatness, none of the vibe would exist! I love the musical direction you took this particular set, and in my eyes, the confidence and finesse behind you taking your set to that level is just another characteristic to admire about you. You're the kindest and most admirable DJ I know personally, hands down. I said it to you in the booth Sunday morning and I'll say it again for everyone to read here: You bring back Aria's magic sweetheart, and imo, you're the ONLY one who can, and with such ease...So, once again Martin, thank you thank you thank you! For your set, your presence, and above all, just being who you really and truly are...not only as a DJ but as a person as well...all from the heart sweetie!

Can't wait to see the magic hapen again
and again
and AGAIN!

Oh, and thank you VERY much for the RM shirt Martin...you were right! It is a BIT small but it'll do fine Can't wait to see you/hear your musak again

wow, don't know what to say... you almost made me cried this morning.

I feel so vulnerable right now. like a little girl lol

Very nice of you both, thank you.

Oh and that remix would be the John Ciafone Vocal Mix

Whens the next night like this happening? Maybe ill come out of my room and visit an afterhour for the first time in a year heheh.

Posted by Mitsutranza on Sep-13-2006 17:53:

Ill keep this short and sweet since Stereohead already summed up pretty much the whole night nicely.
I didn't get to hear Marco G's set and while we were in the coatcheck area (too bad to hear that the coatcheck-couple quit ) Creator was spinning an amazing track that Zabiela usually spins, it really got me pumped to go down there and dance the night away.
shawn_05 and PIPER seemed to be enjoying themselves in the beginning but when they had to leave the party seemed to just pick up the pace and bring the roof down. I enojyed myself very much for the whole night, and what I was really impressed with was the amount of new tracks Creator spun,

I had a tremendous time, but I do have to ask you Martin:
was it just me or was this particular 6-hour set significantly different than your previous ones? track selection and manipulation was spot-on but the loops that you would bring back over and over again (wailing/echoing voices, windy sounds/noises) in your previous 6hour sets weren't there this time around. I did enjoy the re-occuring high hats and snares tho...that was bliss

Martin, congrats on another excellent achievement, I can't remember who I was speaking to (licks?) but they said "Creator is the new Preach of Aria" and I agree completely, you are climbing your way to the top of the local pile and then it will be up to you to see whether you want to go international (which I think you're ready for TODAY )

Untill next time...

MT

Ps: hi to all the TAs that knew where the party was: PIPER, shawn, licks and most of all Stereohead, craziest of 'em all....

Hmmm I don't know, results are never the same, and this set was different in terms of feel...

They were definitly there, I used them a lot, but I guess I was just a little less agressive about it. A little less obvious, in your face noise. I pretty much choose what sampling I want, and often go in the very noisy electric stuff. But i felt more proggy that night, and felt it was less approriate.

Great to see you ;-)

Well now I didn't wanna make u feel like crying sweetie lol!!!
I'm happy that my words touched you that much tho! You can take them all seriously cuz they're 100% true. Kinda very rare to get to go that deep and have it acknowledged by the artist himself...

Thanks for the track ID too !!!
