2002 remixes.... aka "insert song title here_2002"

Anyone else notice the early trend for 2002 is to remix all the top songs from 2 to 3 years ago??? I don't mind it, because the new remixes make these great songs live a bit longer, but it's only March, and it's getting out of hand. Here's a few examples, and please add any that you know of... because I know I am forgetting some.

i love seeing "2002" next to a song...its almost as if it makes it sound better.

I was talking about old songs that have a remix from 2002. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Members of Mayday's 'Culture Flash' a new song for the upcoming Mayday parade? Its the 2002 Mayday anthem.

Anyways... Everyday 2002 is only promo stage right now, Armin has a copy, he dropped it a few weeks ago in DC. The track is sick. We need an El Nino 2002, damn I miss that classic Agnelli & Nelson sound.

Even I'm at it, I remixed one of my really old tunes to bring it up to date for a record label. Its called metamorphosis 2002.

according to www.xtravaganza.co.uk the release of everyday 2002 will be on may 6th. tranzlucent, how much or how little did they change the track? the original was sick enough, is this new version even better?



i personally hope there will be a 2002 remix of 1998. that would be fucking awesome.

Everyday 2002? NICE i wonder what ever happend to the John'00'Fleming mix. Jihn said he though it would be released last year but it hasnt

2002 mixes can be good but most of the time i don' t like new mixes i just love the old fashion track from the start for example Vincent de Moor - Flowtations 2001 mix. i still think the original version was the best. well thats just me. i wonder will he do a better job this year since he released the track again with a 2002 mix.

From what I remember, Everyday 2002 had the same feel as the original. Hearing it in a club for the first time, it's hard to hear every little part, but I was impressed by the mix. I thought the original was a piece of art, and this has the same energy.

Another quality tune to add to the 2002 remix list...

2001/2002 is the same track... just takin so bloody long to release it lol... and i agree the original was far superior to this lame effort!


Anyways is this lack of material or just a new trend! Where is trance headin if they have to revamp all the classics from the best years of this fine genre!

This is my point exactly. Most of the songs remixed were quality tunes, but it seems to be a lack of creativity, combined with a respect for the sound of trance in the late 90's.

Hope when Everyday 2002 is released it has a extended vocal mix over the original mix alough lange used them in his mix this was'nt a lange remix that lives up to his usual high standard.
