Posted by etazbaz on Sep-13-2006 19:33:

damn, i always buy extra tickets thinking i will sell them and make a small profit but, i usually end up giving them away to my friends. i got four for this show and already gave away two as a b-day present and the last one will probably be for my date.

There's this dumb guy that forgot to order tickets early for this event. See this thread. He might want to buy.

Robert I'll give you 50 for both

Posted by RobertStern on Sep-13-2006 23:10:

Well actually, I did forget to get tickets in time. So I purchased a set of 4 from someone on Ebay and I only need 2 of them. So, selling them on Ebay is the best way, wouldn't you all agree. I actaully paid $315 for all 4, working out to $78.75 each.

If sellign something on an open market that will return me the highest amount based upon the demand for this product is wrong, maybe I should move to a communist country or something.

Oh yeah, GEEEEZZZZ People, find something to do with your lives, there might be some, unlike you who wants to go and is will to spend the money.

LAFF
*edit* clovis86 is the high bidder!

Crazy... two days ago tickets were selling for over a $100 each, now, nobody wants any.

Posted by stefanoc on Sep-14-2006 08:11:

welcome to the market! let me explain why.

the people who forgot to buy the tickets who really wanted to go to this event really wanted to get their hands on the ticket. so when they saw eBay sales on day 1, they jumped on the offer and bidded high just to make sure theyre getting it. now that the diehard fans got their tickets, the rest of the crowd will only buy them if the price is 'reasonable'. the HYPE in the beginning raised the price (remember, everyone wanted it so bad). now that they see there are some left not bidded, noone will jump on the offer and wait til the last day or moment so they can have price control.

i would buy it if u give it for 60$ if u have a ticket still left.

Posted by RobertStern on Sep-14-2006 09:24:

They sold for $125 for the pair. I lost like $32.50 on these, bringing my cost to just over $94 a ticket for the 2 I needed.

Guess I should of waited, can get them for $50 no problem now. Day of the event they will sell for much higher. Last minute decisions with people who have money and don't care how they spend it.. That's usually me.

yea thats when u can make most of the money. high risk and high reward. but from what i know, doing it at the door is illegal.
