a serious pkc thread!

i know. im as disappointed as you are

anywayz i need to know how to write a bio. given that i havent even made an appearance for "open decks" theres hardly a great deal to include. i read most DJ bios and they sound a bit wanky, id like to avoid that if possible.

could you experienced peeps help a poor jedi out?

cheers.

The mirror man would definitely be the person to speak to about that. His use of adjectives and his reputation as Sydney's "Trance Lord" makes him a very reputable source!

Posted by Anomyst on Sep-14-2006 00:58:

get someone else to write it for you. so its unbias i guess.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-14-2006 01:03:

ben, could you write my bio for me?

Posted by Simon00 on Sep-14-2006 01:07:

can i pelase write it?

im still home at the moment but as soon as i get to work i will have a crack.

come on pkc you want something flowery. something along the lines of paul is keeping uplifting trance alive in tassie or punters have reported seeing a pair of fairy wings appear on his shoulders during the massively cheesey breakdowns. you spin enough bullshit on here to come up with something hilarious.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-14-2006 01:11:

yeah, asking your friends is a good idea!

If you think most bio's sound wanky then why do you want someone with experience to help you PKC?

Just write a paragraph or two about yourself.

I did Ben's first one I think it was poop!

Tasmania's newest uplifting trance DJ! Falling in love with the trance sound in 2001, PKC soon realised the only way europe's top trance tracks were going to make it to tassie dancefloors was if he brought them here himself. His sets showcase the very best melodic & uplifting hard trance offered in the last 6 years, and his dedication to harmonic mixing makes him a unique breed. Making up for lack his of experience & style with an ear for melody, a night with PKC guarantees to satisfy even the pickiest trance fan.

ok. be honest. i dont care if you all mock me, in fact i encourage it is this ok?

Posted by charlee on Sep-14-2006 05:10:

Its good

I wouldnt say that you haver a "lack" of anything in a bio. Also maybe not call what the play the "best" of something.

I hate word uplifting (I just do)

*reach for the lasers kiddies*

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-14-2006 05:12:

i like a bit of honesty im not very good but i have the best taste in music. just ask me

oh, what do learned people call uplifting trance then?

Posted by Aesthetic on Sep-14-2006 05:12:

Nothing wrong with that word charlee. There might be something wrong with YOU!

Posted by charlee on Sep-14-2006 05:23:

There is nothing wrong with me! I just dont l ike it, doesnt mean I dont like the music

Posted by Dj_Es-Dva on Sep-14-2006 08:52:

I always relate Bexta to Plastic in Sydney so I thought it would be harder.
