LETS GET STARTED
As for the NY Rangers
If Henrik Lundqvist (the true MVP of the team and not Jagr) returns to his form pre olympics, Rangers are in the playoffs...if not than no go
btw I must thank god for XM Radio and channel 204 which is 24/7 hockey talk broadcasting from Canada i think its some station there not really sure but man its great!!!!!!
Naslund, The Sedin Twin and Luongo. Go Canucks Go

That Luongo Canuck retro shirt is that going to be worn by Vancouver all year???
They look good this year though. As long as Naslund stays healthy they will have a chance to win it all IMO
^they need a big man upfront to play with naslund and morrison, let hope morrison return to his old self from two years ago. they need someone who can play with the sedin twins like anson carter last year. I think their defense core can be top 3 in the western conference. i don't think ryan kesler is worth that much money. last year, their special team in penalty killing and power play was shit and they couldn't defend the lead at all, especially a two goals lead. down the last 10 games stretch , boy were they horrible. But GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!

yay! season starts tomorrow
opening night games:
sabres v. canes
leafs v. sens
avs v. stars
Zdeno is the man...
yet.. they trade jason allison, bill guerin, joe thorton, sergei samsonov.... for what... so they could wait years to sign Chara????
fuckin shitty ass organization.... they're the reason I hate the NHL....
Bergeron has another season before they trade his ass away...
who are the Bruins!!??

Zta is a fantastic player, I really hope he continues producing for Detroit together with the other Swedes. Go Red Wings!
Lidas & Nicklas Kronwall were great last season at the olympics together, so I hope they'll kick everyone's ass in the NHL aswell.

I really hate Dallas, but I hope Johnny will be good in the NHL because he's fucking tough and plays with a lot of heart!
So I dont know what happend to my fav Swede Mattias Wienhandl but he isnt on the Isles anymore shame because before his severe eye injury he was one of the biggest prospects for Sweden.
Anyway here are the Swedes we got now:
Stefan Ridderwall
Robin Figren
Kim Johansson
Per Braxenholm
Johan Halvardsson
Apparently Braxenholm & Johansson are really great??

Not really familiar with these guys, most of them hasn't really played that much in Elitserien. I believe you're talking about Kim Johansson the former Flyers player if he has switched, He should be a good signing and Johan Halvardsson I really can't remember from where I've seen him. |
(its another Kim Johannsson go figure...boring swedes un-unique names

the season finally starts up again...makes me giddy!!!
Excited to get my first look at the Avs this year without Blake and Tanguay. Although missed by all Colorado fans I don't think people should underestimate this team. The Hockey News actually listed them finishing in the bottom quarter of the Western Conference which I think is utter bullsh*t.

^the new salary cap era, any 8 teams that makes the playoff coming spring, all have a good chance at winning the cup. since, i'm biased, go canucks go

i am quite biased when it comes to the avalanche so i will always believe. on the other hand it's hard to forget theodore basically lead the avs to the second round of the playoffs. sakic is old but he still produces and i can't see hedjuk having two so-so seasons in a row. also keep in mind that if svatos didn't sustain a shoulder injury so late in the season he probably would have been a real candidate for the calder. i'm happy with my team and expect a playoff spot.
also has anyone been to the new sites? personally, i hate them.
^i still don't really like the avs, maybe it's because of the rivalry for the last few years but joe sakic kicks ass
