Rob Turner - Centrum (September 2006)

It's been 3 years this month since I landed in what would grow to become my favorite city in the world, Amsterdam. I've never felt more comfortable or more "at home" than I did while I was in the Netherlands, and regardless of how much of a tourist trap it is, I'll never forget the feeling of just walking in Centrum. It's something I'll keep with me forever, and the feeling of overwhelming happiness that washed over me those first few days there as I stood in awe of the city provided excellent inspiration for a new demo.

Oddly, for the mindset I have right now regarding myself as an EDM "artist," that probably couldn't have been more perfect...

Giving it a listen now, liking the funkyness so far.

edit: finished listening to it, i enjoyed the tracklist, it was perfect in my opinion. good energy on it, i could totally imagine driving really fast to this mix

Thanks for the listen/thoughts Boomers! I was really trying to create a "progressive" set, not necessarily with regard to using all "prog" tunes, but just the feel of the set as a whole...

Cheers man, you are pushing a neat sound with this demo- I like the vibe a lot. It seems to be a very natural progression for you, every set you push it a bit more, and you pushed the right buttons on here straight up.

This one will stay on the hardrive (This usually doesn't happen as I'm super low memory )
