What's on your slipmats?

I used to have just 'Technics' ones but I bought these last week:

And yes, that is the M EP!

Posted by mute79 on Mar-12-2002 22:45:

i have the glow in the dark swirl and it says technics on it...

but the more important q is

where did you get M?

nice slipmats too

Posted by quddha on Mar-13-2002 07:36:

mine are plain black.
don't like logos.

The plainer the better; we're not hip-hop DJs or turntablists. We let our music do the talking..

Vandit

Stanton logos. they look pretty nice

Posted by hapamoto on Mar-13-2002 19:40:

i don't know what the logo is for.. my friend gave them to me.. anyways they are white w/ a cat that is all hissing and its standing on a record..

Posted by DJTJ on Mar-13-2002 20:21:

Mine are blue with a white border, with 'Technics' in the middle in black, also with a white border. Not the nicest ever, but they came with the decks (I got them second-hand) and I haven't seen any really nice ones that I really want to buy.

I've got "work" slipmats. You know, of that olav basoski label. They're pretty cool, blue with white hammers on it

Posted by Haak on Mar-13-2002 20:43:

I got the Bonzai records logo on mine

Posted by j_spot on Mar-13-2002 22:21:

I want the GC lion on slipmats, but I have yet to see em.

I know Cream has slipmats, as does MOS, but I want GC...or maybe slinky (im just picturing the slinky logo spinning around, could be very cool)

But right now, its factory technic slipmats 4 me

Posted by Jocker on Mar-14-2002 02:24:

you should be shot for keeping your vinyls like that

Posted by hapamoto on Mar-14-2002 05:43:

imo.. slipmats are a waste of money.. i mean first off.. when u spinning how often is your slipmats actually showing.. secondly they cost like $20 bux.. thirdly, you should just keep the slipmats that ur decks came w/ becuase thats money you could be spending on records!

Jocker, those tunes were just strategically placed in shot They are all stored vertically shelved in the correct manner

Hapamoto, these cost me 8.50, so less than a double 12" Import. The mats that came with my decks are the Technics original rubber platter mats so not too slippery!

Of course they don't show when playing tracks but then I don't always have a record playing.

well.. of course you need a real slip mat.. not that rubber shit.. when i got my tables (used) i didn't think the guy was gonna give me slip mats and i was gonna use my old numark slip mats.. haha i didn't give a fuck but he gave me his slip mats anyways..

I don't know about you guys, but my 1200's and pioneer djm 600 are furniture. They are part of the living room. My girlfriend hates concrete block, buy they are sturdy. I have bonzai mats but would like to get some Tracid Traxx slipmats for no real reason.
