You need to host the picture online ( webspace ) and insert in the html email source this:
*IMG src="http://complete link to the file">

replace the * in *IMG with < and add IMG right after it

i think that when you're composing the message it's not animated, but when you send it, the recipient will see it in its full animated glory. Send it to yourself and test it out.

did you even try what I told you to do?

You must realize that you cannot copy and past the image, you cannot attach the image to the email; the file MUST be hosted online and the following tag must be inserted in the email html source code < IMG src="http://....."> ( remove the space between < and IMG; and put the file link in the http:// field )
your email software may let you insert image links from a weblink.

you need to try and edit the edit source code of the email and do the IMG src thing like I told you.... that's what I have always done.
