BUS: CoachCanada ( I do it almost every other week-end)
If you buy your bus ticket atleast 1 week in advanced ...it's 93$. 6 hour ride from the Greyhound/CoachCanada terminal to the Downtown Terminal. Bus line is #1. Have fun.

Check the ride boards in the colleges/universities.

if i started with an empty tank of fuel its proably about 75 bucks for a full tank of gas in my car (75 being the maximum it would cost me to get there, as i never run the tank empty) and i dont even use it all...have enoug left over to tour montreal for the day, but fill up before i head back to wherever im staying...my city mileage is horrendous...driving is probably the best bet

/\ I dunno about that. Factor in the cost of maintenance and ownership over that 900km, and it is more economical to take the bus, but just barely so.

BTW, where are u from MikeyN?

hmm?

^^^ colleges and universities often have 'ride boards' where people looking to catch a ride somewhere can link up.

i.e. someone with a car will try to find 1, 2 or 3 others to drive up with them and split the gas or charge a small fee.

*way* cheaper than any other method of transportation...legal ones, anyway

the maintenance isnt that much really...services are done every 15, 000 km, and my tires are changed frequently, not meaning i buy new ones everytime...

check ur pm's soon-ish

check craigslist.org for toronto and montreal. ppl often on there offering rides. i've even offered rides to montreal as i go about once a month or so. usually price is around $24-$30 per person each way.

pm me a week or so before you go and i'll see if i'm going that weekend.
