Just been told this, saw on Ebay that apparently he was talking as he was being removed...
Hope he does okay, Him and Clarkson are what make Top Gear great...James is just there to laugh at not with.

Richard Hammond, just heard a rumour he'd had a 'smoke' before getting in the car. Top gear apparently.

On the serious note hope he get's better, very good and entertaining presenter.

sounds like swelling, not surprising bearing in mind what he's been through. They are optimistic of a full recovery, whatever that means

I noticed that they were saying on tv a "Good Recovery" not "Full Recovery"...Best of luck to him though.
