5on1 Fight Scenes

LOL

In those 5on1 fight scenes ... one dude takes out everyone, but within the 5 that got knocked out, one of them gets it the worse. Don't you love it .... LMAO!

here's a good one too.
from the protector
the movie has quite a few of these type of fight scenes.

Posted by nusty on Sep-20-2006 22:27:

this is my favorite one. It's Mike Valley, an old school skate boarder. he was riding and some guys on the side called him out as being a fag.... he settled that record.
5 on 1.

That scene is made up almost exclusively of Japanese style Jiu Jitsu tecniques. I love those arm and wrist locks.... they are my favorite way to catch people if they push you.

I love agile Tony Jaa is. His athletic ability is even more impressive than his Mauy Thai.

Jet Li fights championstyle.

Re: 5on1 Fight Scenes

Probably the best - and best known - fight scenes ever done on film.
Lee with weapons is fucking awesome

Actually he was born in San Francisco and then later lived and trained in Hong Kong while it was still under British Rule.
The market for his skills in China was never as valuable as they were in the US or Hong Kong.
But his parents were Chinese (From Hong Kong though...). He was primarily British?/ American but if Chinese citizenship follows down generations then yes, he was still also Chinese. He didn't exercise his US citizenship until his late teens.

Edit: this is all pretty trival crap since many an asian in Hong Kong considered themselves Chinese rather than British... I just thought it was funny saying how he was so Chinese when in fact he never was technically.

...and his first martial art was Tai Chi, believe it or not...

/my Sifu said so

All I know is that his first instructor was Grandmaster Yip Man who was trainned in several Chinese martial arts, so it's quite possible as a starting point, although given his tendency to get into fights a lot at that age I have a hard time beleiving he would have the patience nessecary for something as calm as Tai Chi... I still can't do more than one class a year without getting bored. lol.
The first martial art Bruce Lee taught during/after universtiy was Kung Fu though.

Edit: I'd love to do Tai Chi when I'm 80 though!

I've got some great clips of him playing hockey and fighting during his section of an old 411 video magazine issue. He's so chill until you break him and then he just goes off.

Agreed.
Can we work on getting some real fight scenes in this thread instead of this fake movie stuff.....?
It's like watching WWE.

the protector one is the most realistic out of the movie scenes imo
cuz he breaks all the guys arms/legs to make sure they dont get back up and fight.

I wonder if its even possible to beat that many fighters/black belts with out taking even one blow.

Nice choreography
