Nice pulse in this , like the melody. Good fxs an effects! Maybe a little bit dominating sometimes. Think the kick is too weak. Anyway, well done bidor! I enjoyed!

yeah bidor you are sooo great! this track is absolutely pushing my grandmother to the limit!

/irony off

nah, your track has been downloaded 49 times and you only have one serious reply, which is shite.
So here is another reply:

I like the first 20 seconds but then the builtup(with effects like those) takes too long for my taste.

00.20-00.54 it's ok, nothing that special... 6 of 10

00.54 what's that? the hoppeldihop beat? sry, but I don't think this suits 3.5 of 10

01.09 I like that mysterious sound that is in the background. 7 of 10. As for the other muscial devices: still 3.5 of 10

01.18-end hmmm, the lead theme appears which is OK imho but again nothing special

Finally a 5 of 10 on my scoreboard.

There have been better tracks of you. Keep up your work

your welcome

that's the way it should be imho. I don't like people that only leech and never reply.

honest feedback is very important to allow the artist to review his work properly - so he can improve himself and produce better tracks

So Salegon, you mean that if you dont say "nothing special" about everything you are not honest? But I guess my review is the shit-one? And yeas you right, it is. Im not a producer my self so I can not give detaileds advices, so I guess I will save my time and energy and be a leacher.

Thanks heaven there is one compepetent person in this forum who can help artists to be better producers with saying "nothing special". You are my hero!

NO. It's just a statement, nothing more or less. Don't be offended so easily.

Maybe I should underline my statement more clearly:

That's what I don't like. Every reply is welcome.

The fact that the relation of leaching/replying is so imbalanced concerning bidors post is shite imho, not the reply itself.

As for serious replies: you reply was the "good" one.

Ok, sorry. I missunderstod.

Thank you bidor! I will always listen to your productions and tell what I think.

You seem to do that often.

Hello Bidor, I'd consider changing the kick and clap and add some more percs and take up the hihats a wee bit to give it a more driving feel.

But this is a PROMOTION forum, and that does not necessarly mean half-assed halfdone tracks but also full scale ones, which is up for promotion, meaning that obviously feedback is welcome but its the promotion that is vital.

hey mate

nice oldschool synth.

nice efx here.

reverbed kick is a nice idea. i think the introduction of the main kick could have been better with more energy.

bass - nice bass. kick isnt loud enough imo.

overall the sounds are cool. a good mixdown would make this shine.

drive would improve tenfold with improved mixing aswell.

overall i would say turn down the loudest parts in the mix, bring the kick volume up a load, and turn up some of your quieter synths.

nice track in need of a good mix

Hey! This is quite an interesting track. I agree that your kick could be a little stronger, it doesn't really punch through the mix like it could. Also, that one effect that is really really high pitched (sorry i can't be more descriptive) is ok once or twice but it started to hurt my ears after that. This may be because i'm listening on headphones though. I think that you could add maybe one more line in before 1:18 as it gets quite repetative and static in parts. Also, i would extend the outro just a bit as the ending seems abrupt. Anyways, I like the main lead and your patches quite a bit. Keep up the good work.
-EE

P.S. If you could take the time to review my latest, "perplexus" i would really appreciate it. If you don't have time though, don't worry about it.

This version is better than the first one imo but there are still some things that I don't like...

1.) the first 8 seconds are really good! after that, I exspect something really loud and aggressive. some nice deep bass would do it.

2.) that alien sound effect is ok, but I wouldn't use that as a constant part of the tune.

3.) after 55 seconds: hmm... this bumple-dee-bumb sound and I will never be friends... it does not really suit into your tune

4.) after 1.18: the synth itself is neat, but I don't like the transition. this needs to be worked on.

5.) the track's ending is similar to its beginning which is ok but something more creative would have been better.

overall rating: 5.5/10

This is not your best tune imho but I don't spend my scoring points easily so don't take it too serious.

Thanks Akia, glad you like it

and Salegon, thanks mate for the detailed feedback/reviews! in my eyes the tune is complete... im gonna work on a new tune soon again, hope you will like that one more as you liked this one

thanks all,

Bidor

I like this, sounds kind of techy rather than housy.
I like the synth line and its melody. The acid synth is cool.
The kick needs a bit more mid range punch.
The percussion coould be improved, maybe with a more hihat layers.
Some techy percussion would be really cool also.
I kinda want to hear an off beat hihat as well. Not one of those typical 909 hats mind you, but a discreet and less agressive hihat.
The high pitched beep is definately too loud. Lower it to a third of its current level and consider dropping it altogether in a few places.
It's a good start.
