Cold Season

I got my first cold of the season. It has started out as a sore throat. I can't aford down time so I went out and got some Zicam Cold Remedy. The shit was expensive $11 but I thought I'd give it a try. Any one have any luck with it or is just a waste of money? Even if its bullshit I'm hoping I'll still benefit from the Placebo effect.

hot tea with honey and lemon juice, always works for me when i have a soar throat.

zicam isn't decongestent it's supposed to counter act the germs that give you the cold thus shortening the duration and severity if you take it with in 48hrs of the first symptom.
