Cool Edit 2000 questions

Since I used Goldwave as my primary sound editor and never used Cool Edit before, I have some questions (since I'm used to Goldwave's layout and way of doing things):

1. How do I fade in or out? It's easy on Goldwave but, I can't seem to find it on CE 2000!

2. WHERE DO YOU ENTER THE REGISTRATION INFO AT? I noticed that there's NO serial number spot for the registration! Where do I put in the registration number?

1. Not sure. Ask their website.

2. Not sure, email their technical support, I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you.

if you select a part of the waveform and click that ehhh

what's it called

transform or something button in that upper bar thingy and then select amplify then you can select fade in and fade out (i don't have the program here so I don't know the exact names)

registration thingy....isn't that somewhere in the help menu? dunno

ye select what u want to fade, go to the transform menu, then amplitude.. then u can either go to amplify which will just fade straight down... or if u want to do it more gradually as in not just a diagonal line down u can use envelope...

the registration... just run the setup program.. there should be an option for it... if not io have a crack so if u want it PM me
