Airbase - One Tear Away

Jezper did it again. His tune was TOTW in the previous ASOT and Armin didn't ID'ed it. Today it was played again in ASOT and voila. This banging,mind-blowing tune is the successor of Escape and it is even greater than Escape. Jezper is talented,most of us knew this and it's time to admit it (yeah those of you who were calling him cheesy etc). Well done Jezper,quality tune once again .In case you're reading this thread (as Jezper was posting frequently here) do you have any release date for it?


PS: For samples you'll have to listen to ASOT 266 or ASOT 267 (when it will be uploaded).

I think its pretty overated tbh. Escape was far better and even that wasnt THAT great

Escape ownz one tear away by miles imo. not a big fan of this new airbase production tbh. sounded pretty weak to me and i dont like that super-tight bassline

Isn't that due reason to continue? Who knows, maybe we can help the trance scene by making him quit again, and stop producing guff like this.

Escape is his worst production, and this is his 2nd worst one, if you ask me. They're boring, that's all... All of his other productions are mint.

I don't like Escape at all. On the other hand the B side was nice.

It's utter crap

It's not a tune i will remember, not really bad however.

First of all, the version Armin is playing isnt the final version, just an early version.

And secondly, I'm sorry to disappoint you by saying I will keep producing music forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. You know, there are other artists and other tracks. Make something good of your spare time and go pay your respects to those you actually admire. I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

And finally; you guys who like the track, thanks for your support!

When it was " ID - ID " everyone was so excited and most of people said it was a worthy Tune Of The Week. Now that we know the artist it simply became a nice tune?Simply lol. Anyway i really like it . Jezper any release date? You said it isn't finished so can you make a guess when we should expect it?

I respect every producer who has at least 1 signed track released. Respect to that, that's a difficult job!

Maybe you should try other trance styles too...

lately i've been getting pretty bored with trance, but then i hear stuff by Airbase and it's back to good ol' euphoric, uplifting, awesome bass trance...he's pretty damn awesome i must say, can't wait to hear this new track.

He will produce stuff he likes. And just because some people don't like the stuff he makes (thank god tastes are different), he doesn't have to change his style, just to satisfy those people.

Escape was/is an awesome tune, well produced too. Didn't hear the new one yet.

A forum is a great place for noobies to call artists shit and to puke on their tracks. It's so easy nowadays to do so (in times where everybody does nothing but whine about tracks/djs/sets/etc. anyway). But producing just ONE track that hits the g-spot of a trance fan is another thing, and it's hard work. Jezper did that more than once. Respect to that.
Every artist can live with it when people say they don't like the stuff, but the speech some people are using, is really lowest shelf. Social behaviour at zero, really.

And for some reason I find more and more people not knowing what overrated, cheesy or hype means.
The track has been played...2 times ? So it's overrated ? Wow.
I guess when more than 3 people say they like it, it's hyped, right ? Oh, and it's commercial then, too - and cheesy of course.

Its also a place for "oldies" to vent their frustration, when the same producers keep churning out the same old generic shit they always did.

Rah Pole Position is a nice track, and a few other Airbase related projects have had quite a fair bit of hype since... but what exactly amazing was in those tunes?

Just as easy as it is for noobs to complain tracks are bad, its also all too easy especially these days for older fans to have no interest whatsoever in hearing the most generic fodder out there... unfortunately most radioshows, ways to listen to trance, are flooded with crap at the minute, so what exactly can us people looking for better music, actually do with ourselves?

Most trance producers progress their sound to at least something better than the uplifting formulae that is so tried and tested its become dated.
