What's your favorite weekly trance show?
Maybe this has been done before, but I'm curious! Which of the major ones is your favorite?
Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance
Matt Darey's Nocturnal
Above and Beyond's Trance Around the World
Markus Schulz' Global DJ Broadcast
Paul Van Dyk's Fritz Soundgarden
Hopefully I'm not forgetting any. If so, let me know.
Lately I've been loving Matt Darey's Nocturnal. Really great tunes and great guests. He had Sander this past week!
edit: tried to make a poll but it didn't work
i hate em all
Eh, the only radio show I listen to from time to time is Digweed's Kiss100 show, but that isn't trance.
Other shows:
The second hour of Judge Jules weekly show is always Trance - it airs on BBC Radio 1. He also hosts the Global Warm Up on BBC Radio 1
Johan Gielen's show airs on Fresh FM Holland on Saturday nights.
Cor Fijnemans show is heard in Belgium on Top Radio every Wednesday night
Blank & Jones host a weekly show on N-Joy Radio, which can be heard all over northern Germany in cities like Hamburg
Eddie Halliwell is about to start a weekly show on BBC Radio 1 every Thursday night. A good dose of the show will consist of Trance.
Pedro Del Mar & DJ Shah host Mellowmania every Monday on Sunshine Live, which can be heard all over Germany on Cable Radio, and on terrestrial radio in cities like Stuttgart
Talla 2XLC hosts Technoclub on Sunshine Live every Thursday night
DJ Taucher hosts Adult Music on Sunshine Live every Sunday night
Menno De Jong hosts Intuition on Friday nights on X-FM in southern Holland
Paul Kershaw Saturday nights on Galaxy Radio in the UK (on FM in North England and the Midlands, and all over the UK on DAB radio).
Weekly show? Hmm. I guess the GDJB.
But I prefer to listen to M.I.K.E.'s Club Elite Sessions.
HERNAN CATTANEO!
**Not trance.
Lately it's been Trance Around the World...and of course my friend's show, Altered Reality.
PvD has a radioshow
Meh, I don't listen to them... Only Club Elite sessions, which is monthly
Actually, Paul has 2 shows - one airs on Berlin's radio station, Fritz, every Wednesday at 8 PM. The other is a new one that airs in the US on satellite radio Sirius, on Area 33, on Thursdays and Saturday nights, and is called the Vonyc Sessions.
I'm gettin kinda annoyed by all this weekly shows, nowdays everybody has one, and they're all playing the same shite. But i guess a an episode of GDJB with a good tl and a good guest is pretty nice, even if it's not as good as it was 2003-2004.
I listen to:
Trance Around the World (above and beyond)
A State of Trance (need i say?)
Global Trance Grooves (John 00 Fleming)

I think we made a list of this a couple of months ago, and mine is clearly Global Trance Grooves with J00f.
I enjoy the Intuition shows

ASOT if I don't forget.
Oakenfold's E at Eleven on Denver's 93.3
anything on rautemusik.fm funky channel works for me
the only radio show that i can stand......
Deep Blue Radio Show.
Bah'
you left out future sounds of egypt
I don't really think it matters what show it is, if it's weekly there is a big chance of it becoming stale, especially if similar tunes are played. I prefer monthly shows simply because such as joofs, it brings us not only him but many guest mixes too which add to variety. Much better than 2 hours of the same guy each week, or some shows which these days lack depth (gdjb) and who used to have a wide range of guests now have g&d or sasha once in a while
