Religious Fraud. A MUST SEE.

My Friday gift to all of you.

This seriously has to be one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. I always hated this sack of shit and I hope this video gets passed around and millions of idiotic teenagers are heartbroken to find out what a fraudulent douchebag Scott Stapp really is.

Nieghter do I. I couldn't understand much of what he was saying considering how often he used the f-word (muffled by the censoring beep) and how wasted he was. I also don't see much reason to take what he said seriously at all since the guy was wasted. For the record, I'm not a Creed fan (although I thought they had some good songs here and there).

i'll admit i had their first album at one point but other than that it was just another crappy rock band on the always crappy broadcast radio. a band and a lead singer that has been dead a long time and no longer matters

Same here. I also find it annoying how many vocalists rip off Eddy Veder.

Is it un-Christian to drink and swear?

Posted by shaolin_Z on Sep-23-2006 06:19:

The only issue I have with Scott Stapp is his artistic integrity, more specifically, his Eddie Veder rip off vocals, and that's really about it. The guy had a very strict Christian upbringing. I don't think it's a big surprise that his lyrics reflect that. So what's the big deal? In fact, Creed, in some interview I saw, never asked to be labelled as a "Christian band" or "Christian rock." So I don't see how they or Scott Stapp are deceitful in any way.

Well, I think drinking to the point of being shitfaced like he was, is considered gluttony.

The sin of gluttony is an invention of the church though, there's nothing in scriputure to suggest that getting drunk is a mortal sin (or, at least, none that I'm aware of). Hell, even when Noah got shitfaced and passed out naked he got off scot-free: it was his son, who had the misfortune of seeing him naked, who got punished by god.

So the lesson is clear: if you must get drunk and pass out naked somewhere, do it in the company of someone you don't like. Their bewildered disgust at your naked, pink appendages shall find them falling rather rapidly into disfavour with our just and merciful Lord.
