Todays game .Montreal @ toronto..

Toronto is looking really good this year so far

minus the first game with raycroft in net ... gah

hopefully they start Justin Poggie in the next few games

cant wait to see his skill in an NHL game

Aubin is still solid between the pipes tho

I guess you guys need a new Official 2006/07 TML Thread.
Just rename the this thread and this could be it really. I am sure it will get posted in quite a bit like last years.

Well seeing as how they have a new coach .. who is very talented mind you..


some really solid young guys on the point ( forget his name but fuck is that kid ever patient with the puck)..

Some new blood up front which is good as well ..

The nice thing about having a new coach like Paul .. is that his speciality is working with younger players and developing their skills ... exactly what Toronto needs ..

Young Fast SKilled hockey players are definatly the new NHL .. so leafs better conform or get hurt really badly ..

Leafs really need some solid help between the pipes .. and finally they have it .. 4 young awesome goalies ( well 3 + raycroft.. who went from rookie of the year to a big slump .. not good) .. but Justin Poggie .. Aubin .. Telqvist ... they ahve the talent just utilizing it will be the big key.
IMHO ... Aubin really deserves the starter position while Justin Poggie gets the experience with the Marlies..
if Poggie plays anything like he did in the World Juniors .. he will make an excellent starting goalie in the NHL for sure
