Essential Mix extended schedule

24 Sept - Fergie Live From Lush
1 October - Bob Sinclar
8 October - Marcel Woods, Tide Boys Live From The Tidy Weekender
15 October - Trentemoller
22 October - Pete Tong & Scott Bradford Live From Digital Newcastle
29 October - Andy Cato

quite a few there, obviously some of us will want different things, personally sinclair will be ok, marcel woods unmissable & so on,

Thumbs down for close to zero varation. Thumbs up for supporting up and coming names. The only interesting thing on there for me personally would be Andy Cato though, and I have serious doubts that he'll be able to top the fantastic Groove Armada EM from 2002.

Jan, it's the bbc, they've never been groundbreaking

Will def listen to Marcel Woods. And if I have time I will listen to Ferry tomorrow.

Andy Cato is also one of three members behind Qattara (I think i saw a thread about Qattara in here earlier) who have done a few classics

"Andy Cato presents Packupanddance - 7am Drop "

so I hope the EM will be in style with this track, becos I love it

Any trance DJ gettin a full 2 hour one would be a start let alone JOOF

he's had one before, and let's face it, there's as many "trance" fans who love the genre but who have to deal with the essential mix bunch of chinstroking housescum thinking that all trance derives from pvd, tiesto, armin & jules.

Why was it Fergie's last ever show on radio1?

Probably cos his show was the least popular, in combination with the complete schedule revamp R1 has undergoing this week (several shows changing times and getting replaced).
