Luke Terry - Untitled (Rachels Song) / Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (Luke Terry Remix)

Hey,

I recently finished a new track... and IMO it's the best solo production piece I have ever done. Currently it's untitled until my better half thinks of a name for it

Check it out if u can please @ my myspace
My remix of Chasing Cars is there too!

Cheers,
Luke

hey

i listened your tracks, they are really good, raechol song is very uplifting , piano is nice but i think you should cut it after breakdown, btw that remix will be released? if notmaybe you could share full track ?

A really nice feeling track! Nice kick, like the melody. A bit moddy sound but that can be the myspace quality. Nice job!

the uplifting track is excellent, not really original imo, but still a solid trancer, love it! I'm actually more impressed by the snow patrol remix. I already heard of them, but didn't check them out properly. great vocals, it all seems to fit really well. great job!
oh yeah, as requested, the full track would be great!

Love the remix of Chasing Cars, one of my favourite tunes of the summer and I think you've really captured the right vibe with it here. Energetic, uplifting and will certainly put a lot of smiles on faces on a dancefloor, fucking quality

Really digging the untitled one. The strings are a bit over the top but I love the arpeggiated melody. Piano works really well too..

I don't know what to say about the Snow Patrol remix except that it is awesome.

I like the direction you're heading atm, great work

cheers for the replies

i've tried getting the snow patrol remix to snow patrol + umg (+ armin) but got nothing back so i may well post the full version up soon if nothing comes of it

Mr Terry you must give me the Snow Patrol mix! Superb! I liked though, very good work as usual

nice once, "untitled" sounds great

haven't seen you online in a bit, where you been?

Posted by apri_peel on Sep-26-2006 07:36:

wow, that remix of chasing cars is fantastic!
to be honest, i never heard that song before, but it's probably one of the best tunes i've heard in a while.

i really hope something comes through for you for both tunes. they are both excellent works!

but if chasing cars doesnt quite cut it for armin, even better for us cause we wont have to wait months for it

Wasn't feeling Chasing Cars that much, I have a hard enough time with female vocals in dance music. However the untitled song sounda AMAZING! I will definitely be looking out for that one. Great work.

Posted by apri_peel on Sep-26-2006 19:24:

its male vocals in chasing cars, im pretty sure heh

i really like male vocals in trance because they are a nice change from the whinny, cheesy girls crying about love

The Chasing Cars remix is better than the one van boring has been caining.

Posted by theholyalex on Sep-26-2006 23:12:

Oh man, i love that chasing cars minx remix! Hope to hear a full version soon! Untitled sounds awesome too, cheers for the heads up!

i love your mix of chasing cars!! i'm singing along to it at the moment as well x]

This would fit in perfectly on this local radiostation out here in Western WA USA...

c89.5... it's a technical college station that basically does nothing but plays dance music... mostly annoying stuff, but if you made a radio edit. They'd be more than happy to play it probably. That all depends on how lables are responding, and if you even want to.

But this stuff is right up their alley. http://www.c895worldwide.com/web/

Anyway, another solid production man. I am impressed as usual.

Hey luke, I love this Rachels Song. Its got a great melody and the production quality is real nice, my only complaint is the 'super saw' strings (I assume from JP8000) gets a bit irritating, might just be the low mp3 tho. I think you need more filtering on them, touch more reverb and maybe adjust the attack / release settings to make them smoother. At the moment its like they're just too 'full on' all the time and we only get a break when the arpeg melody starts, but then they kick back in at full force not long after.

Thats the only part which lets the track down, other than that its spot on mate

Rachel's Song and East of the Sun & West of the Moon now forthcoming on Mondo Records
