Opus III - It's A Fine Day (Leon Bolier Remix)

At first when I heard this on last week's ASOT, I thought the track's instruments were somewhat out of tone with the vocals - but now I've heard this remix in a few other sets, and it's definitely grown on me. A really great job by Leon

I think he's referring to Leon remaking a 1992 house track as being the offense.

I also did a remix of this

The vocals were bit hard to work with, so I understand if they sound a bit out of tune. Haven't heard this remix yet.

yeah, that might've been it too.

But this remix is damn good, Leon really takes a fresh approach melodically here. He composes a great new melody that blends with the vocals in a strange way that WORKS, but you might not hear it immediately.

+1 Massive tune, i don't think anyone ever will manage to build such a good tune around the Fine Day acapella.

glad u like it

about remixing a 92 classic: its just that im in love with the vocals, i made the remix for fun, i dont think it will be released anyway, and if anyone thinks remixing old tracks is offensive, just dont listen to the remix then. It was fun remixing it, and i thought id share the remix with armin and tiesto to play out, after i played it in many sets during this summer. That's all

btw: to listen to the remix goto www.myspace.com/leonbolier
