Music (EDM Genres & Drugs)
What do you people think is the influence of a drug to induce someone to enjoy certain genres.
This is not a statement but I've noticed this are the most common.
X = Epic, Euphoric Trance.
LSD, Mushrooms (Hallucinogens in general) = GOA, PSY.
Cocaine, Ketamine, Speed = Minimal, Electro, Tribal. they tend to "not stand" melodies.
For me it does make sense,
Epic Uphoric trance is the happy genre, and if you get an "X" your zerotonine level will increase, (Happy X + Happy Trance) match.
Psy Trance it's in general for hallucinations, well I've personally havenot tried this drugs, I do have Synaesthesia, and this is definitely music that makes you hallucinate.
Minimal, Electro, Tribal, I really don't completely understand why these drugs match with this generes, I'm just assuming these because often people that take this drugs like this genres.
What do you people think about it?

Well personally, when I listen to house music I prefer chicken noodle soup with oyster crackers, and I thoroughly enjoy beef stew with a side of corn niblets along with my hard trance, but for the fluffier stuff I'd definitely rather be handing out a hard anal thumping to a slice of cinnamin coffeecake while watching taped reruns "LIVE! With Regis & Kathy Lee!", rendering it virtually impossible to listen to in the car...

| Originally posted by Pinokio Now you are being really stupid Why do you think X or LSD is not famous in Salsa Music, or regueton. Drugs are related to music genres, not specifically with one genre, but often it doest match with more genres. If you are not aware of that, it's your problem. I don't like the fact that you want to make fun of me beacuse you don't understand something. |
Why the hell do you need drugs to enjoy music? Or overall?
I dropped X at Senor Frogs once..they were playing rap, reguetton and salsa. Let me tell you, i wouldn't have enjoyed it otherwise.

Alright, well as you clearly fail to understand even the most basic grammar (acceptable, considering it's likely English isn't your first language) and/or are simply too dense to understand why this is a poor thread/question in general, we'll just leave it here.
Thanks for playing!

I think if you really need drugs to like music, you really don't like or appreciate the music period. I'm not going around saying "drugs are bad, don't do them" but the music comes first, and you should be able to experience the music and life...you shouldn't need drugs to do that. And the music should and does enforce emotions, like in this other thread on here, esp the uplifting stuff. It's uplifting for a reason, you shouldn't need drugs to uplift you...music and life can do that on it's own with a little effort on your part to make it what it is. Yeah I know i'm preaching but...really it's not hard to figure out. But i'm someone on here who doesn't do drugs and have liked the music as it is without them. |
