fucking hell

im sure there are similar instances over here in Oz, but ive never seen anything that blatantly disgraceful.

Jesus fucking Christ. I had to go to Newsweek's site just because I could believe it, but couldn't at the same time. This country's fucking sad. Did they really think that this would slip quietly by?

Why wouldn't it slip quietly by? There aren't going to be any protests. Nothings going to happen because of it. Maybe some cable or morning show somewhere might do a short 20 second segment on it and possibly bring in some 'expert' to debate the issue.

And thats it. They'll do the same thing next issue.

...that it's some right-wing, neocon, pro-war Republican mouthpiece?

if you are, you've completely lost it.

Yeah, for God's sake, why would I expect NEWSWEEK to report news instead of feature stories about photographers.

Quite honestly, it's pathetic and if the same happened with a Dem president in office, I'd bitch about the same thing. Report the damn news.

you can rebrand it all you want, its still censorship, even if its censorship due to monetary convinience aka. marketing.
