Jaytech (Australia)

In the small city of Canberra, Australia, Jimbo Cayzer has been producing electronic music under the moniker �Jaytech� since the age of 14. Six years on, he has signed 10 worldwide releases with plenty more in the works, on labels such as Ministry of Sound, Hope Recordings and Sony.

Whether it be on his own or in tandem with studio partner-in-crime Mark Dynamix, his works contain a strong melodic influence while still maintaining the solid, club-driven timbre that is essential to underground dance music today.

Jaytech's upcoming records have received support from the likes of Ti�sto, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Paul van Dyk, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Hybrid and John Digweed to name a few, and his new collaborations with Sydney's Matt Rowan have achieved great success internationally with both single releases and inclusions on upcoming Renaissance mix compilations.

Jimbo keeps himself constantly immersed in the world of dance music by producing, playing live around Australia, DJing with both old and new technology and listening to a wide range of music to better his sound, and his tracks serve as a reflection of his waking life.

With an ever-expanding career and zest for pushing electronic music forward, Jaytech is out to make a difference.

Matt Rowan�s Matt Rowan�s DJ career spans two decades of house music and continues to grow and evolve today. Having commenced his first residency back in 1998, Matt has gone on to become a regular at many a Sydney nightclub and event. A style that�s been described as �Bass-driven House Music�, Matt�s sets incorporate a strong rhythmic and techy feel whilst remaining light hearted and funky: A combination which gets any dance floor moving! This dance floor oriented approach to set structure and programming, combined with deft skills, has seen Matt become resident at Sounds on Sunday and Sydney�s premier progressive night SweetChilli. With dates both at home and abroad, 2006 will also see Matt make his WMC debut with numerous guest appearances alongside some of the industry�s finest.

2005 saw the release of Matt�s debut production �The Cruzer EP� on L2 Music as well as remixes of Ikarus�s Collapso and Seyton�s �Vikinfjord�. Further releases on L2, Boston label Reversible and Fiberline are expected early 2006 as will his tune �Keep Sake� which appears on Steve Porter�s �Porterhouse� compilation.

Alongside production buddy Jaytech, Matt�s release �Tomorrow/Blaze� was described by Nick Warren as ��the tune of 2005� and was championed by Warren as well as Hernan Cattaneo around the globe. Signed to Hope recordings, �Tomorrow� features on Dave Seaman�s Renaissance compilation �Master Series 3�. 2006 will see more original productions from the duo and remixes for V-Sag, Starecase as well as releases on Fiberline and Hope Recordings.

Matt�s tunes receive regular support from a wide variety of international heavy hitters such as Seaman, Cattaneo, Masiello, Fair, Sasha, and Porter whilst his DJ sets on Pulse, Proton, Frisky and Indiesoundz regularly attains listenerships over the 1000 mark.

These are 2 great producers that deserve more recognition. Ive been following there productions and remixes for about a year now. Id like to see these 2 guys here in Montreal but to be honest id rather see Chable and Shiloh first before anyone. Both Shiloh and Chable are more known so after they come it would be easier to bring Jaytech and Rowan in.

no they are not playing at house they are playing at le manoir, house party will take place once a month with some of the biggest up and coming names in the industry. the first show takes off with Jaytech and Matt Rowan and more to come after that

you better be coming im doing the warm up, and yes shiloh is in the same place its there official bleed tour stop in montreal, and trust me colin and justin are super excited about coming to montreal they have not been here since they were young. NEED SUPER TA SUPPORT for Matt and Jaytech need to show them what montreal is all about so they will come back again
