From The Airwaves: October '06 Demo Mix

This is a mix I recorded for New York based radio station M1 Live. The mix aired on September 8th and received many positive reviews.

It starts off with some prog and tech house before eventually sliding into the electro sound that has become the staple of my dj sets.

This is the first mix that I did with two CDJs alongside my two TTs. This allowed me to play three tracks at once in a couple of spots and I think it worked out very well. It will probably be most noticeable during the transition into Freeform Five's "No More Coversations." If you are familar with that track you will definitely notice the added vocals.

After the mix aired I dropped it into my sequencer and edited it for time so that it would fit onto an 80 minute CD. This is the editied version. For those of you who recognize these tracks I hope you will find the edits do justice to the originals and dont take much away from them.

It is a great joy to be able to share my tastes in music in a creative manner and I truly hope you will enjoy listening to this mix as much as I did making it.

I know this isnt "House Addict" but I was hoping someone could give me some feedback on the mix nonetheless. Who knows, you may like it and besides, its a free download of course!
