Wow for that price and all the features this thing has, we'll be seeing a lot more of these!

Wicked! I might buy one!

possibly but on the d2 it was for recording only, supposedly the quality is much improved over rca outs

Apparently they're trying to make an alternative to Rane's TTM57SL, so at the moment it's looking like it should be in the region of $1400 with the time code software/firewire card included.

what's this? can you select if you hear pre or post on the headphones or is that something else? and the mixer looks pretty hot too, other than the blue leds which i think are pretty gay to be honest. and i'd prefer a rotary too.

Blue lights. It's a Mackie thing.
Lots of people like the Mackie sound and connect it with the blue light.

Got one on my Echo soundcard too.

You got it

You can see them underneath the RCA connectors on the back.

I bet if this mixer is even avaliable in AUS it will cost more than I could ever afford! Damnit, why cant any pro audio companies be AUS based!? Ok... I know why but DAMN!
I was thinking of buying SSL... But if I sell my current mixer and my current soundcard, this mixer might not cost so much...

Mackie is a fucking awesome company. I was contemplating either getting a Nikon D50, or a D.2. If I hadn't have needed a camera so bad, I would've gotten the D.2. The quality of Mackies mixers are superb and the blue lights are omG. I wouldn't be suprised if this had better or equal sound and quality than Xone's

Looks awesome!!

gimme gimme gimme

I'd be surprised if it had better sound quality than the xones lets remember that the xones are made by allen and heath a legendary large sound board making company. Mackie is nice but there large boards aren't as nice as allen and heath ones so i'd be kinda surprised if the same wasn't true for the dj mixers.
