Chris Fortier
Francois K, Vitalic or Dave Clarke might not be the first three names to come to mind when you mention the DJ Chris Fortier. However, these are the last three records that close his recent 3 hr set at The Loft in Barcelona.
While many people may claim to know Chris� sound, with their focus on continually labelling him one thing or another, Chris is equally as focused on his efforts to push back the musical boundaries. It is testament to the man, that he continues to develop his sound and musical direction, after all, as the man says himself �I just like to play good underground music, full stop.� It is artists such as Chris Fortier who are inextricably linked to the underground dance music scene that are the genuinely pushing the sound forward.
Chris� determination to continue to push the envelope can be seen in all aspects of his career. Proof of this can be found on his recent triple CD compilation Balance 007�boasting tracks from across the musical spectrum like David Gilmore Girls, Global Communication and Floppy Sounds through to Slam, Matthew Jonson, Rabbit in the Moon and Bent�through to his recent solo production under the 40oz moniker.
Anthony Pappa
After completely tearing the roof of F4 on Anzac Eve for PF and Darkbeat, we thought it only fair we try and get Melbourne�s favourite DJ export back again before the end of the year so he could finish us all off good and proper this time.
There�s nothing much more that needs to be said about Anthony to his hometown crowd. When he�s behind the decks anywhere within the 03 area code, well, people just seem to stay on the floor that little bit longer.
Anthony Pappa twice in one year � we are indeed rather spoilt aren�t we.

Fortier's one of the best in the world, Pappa can play a bit and that's a pretty decent looking local line-up too, in one of the best clubs in the city. All signs point to a big fucking night.

Was Chris Fortier Balance a triple CD? I am missing one then! RIPPED OFF! His Balance is my second favourite but I think I might miss his set

Chris Fortiers Balance is one of my all time favorite CDs! best of the series! i'm missing disc three though

I agree Tathi, Fortier's Balance is probably second in the series to Holden's imo. For consistency, Fortier's probably my fave DJ going around right now - cannot wait to play alongside him again this year.
Going to be one massive afternoon/evening indeed
whenever i listen to holdens cd i say "this is my favorite balance!" then i listen to fortiers and say "no this is!"
