UEFA Cup 2006/07

http://www.uefa.com/live/competitio...only/index.html

After the first cut: Schalke, Marseille, West Ham and Hertha, out.

Braga last year completely dominated Red Star, but didn't go through cause the serbian goalie made the game of his life. This year they do an awful game in Italy against Chievo, and actually make it. Go figure.

Out of the 4 teams out 3 are a shock to me. Didnt't expect them to bomb out so early especially Shalke, they're a quality team. Im supporting Palermo through this (forza sicilia) and wow what a result against West Ham, im impressed Although they have a tough road up ahead.

Asamoah injured himself badly and will be out for months, not sure how long currently though, but it seems to be a very serious injury.

I'm happy the smaller teams gets through.

Partizan has pretty good chances anyways..

Looking very good, the group stage, with some european powerhouses.

Go Spanish teams, PAO and Palermo.

I'm a Rangers fan. This is a tough group for us. Are you a Partizan fan? I've just been looking at the league table and you are 6th at the mo. I see you defeated Groningen in the qualifiers. I can see this being a tight match.

Go M. Haifa, let's hope the games against Partizan and Auxerre will worth the trip to Tel Aviv...

I'm actually a Red Star Belgrade-fan, but I always support all Serbian teams in European Cups.

Partizan is very unpredictable at home, they play very good when the fans is pushing them to the limit. I believe they could make it through the group if they play at the top of their game at home, They're not at all as strong as they were away though. Ivica Kralj is probably one of the worst goalkeepers in Europe, and I've always thought he would fuck up for them.

Auxerre got beaten by OFK Belgrade in the first game in Serbia, but then OFK lost to Auxerre afterwards with 5:1, The last three goals of the game was scored in the last 10 minutes. Serbian teams has the potential, but I think Partizan will struggle to get through.

They play somewhat pretty unorganized at times, and they have knocked out Maribor who knocked out Villareal earlier this year. Look out for Lomic, Zajic, Odita, Oboya and Smiljanic, They're all topclass players.

You picked Parma but not Palermo...Palermo will eat Parma for breakfest this season..but its your opinion so respect. Great to see some of the less fortunate teams who never make it to this cup to actually make it through the first cut.

Group A:
Auxerre
Rangers
Livorno
-Lucarelli is a dangerous striker

Group B:
Leverkusen
Besiktas
Tottenham
-Let's see if Spurs can turn around their shitty form right now

Group C:
Sevilla
AZ
Gasshoppers
-After last 2 yrs, it's hard to discount any Swiss teams

Group D:
Lens
Heerenveen
Osasuna
-Parma is too inconsistent. I'll probably be wrong on this one as Heerenveen is not too good either.

Group E:
Basel
Feyenoord
Blackburn
-Yay Rovers. Savage, you better break some ankles!

Group F:
Ajax
Sparta
Espanyol
-Kinda sucks to see Czech teams not doing well in Europe lately

Group G:
Panathinaikos
PSG
Rapid Bucharest
-PSG always plays under the level that they can

Group H:
Newcastle
Palermo
Fenerbache
-I like Palermo, even with loss of Grosso. Fenerbahce is another dangerous team, if a bit inconsistent

You probably have a point... but I think Palermo's group is tougher than Parma's, even though I thought it would be Parma and Lens fighting for the last spot in their group...

Anyway, I suck at this guessing stuff
