To the nimrod who was off his/her head and had the nerve to whistle -- off beat- during the Blank & Jones -Desire in PvD's Rosenmontag set...hope you are aware you ruined a set.

what is it with Whistles??? can't they stick the pacifiers back in?

ugh....this isn't the first time. last year when ferry spun at rosenmontags, some idiot kept blowing his/her whistle throughout the entire set. at some points, the sound from the whistle was even louder than the music. they should ban those stupid things.

One tip 4 u guys:

Don not EVER go to the Love Parade!!!! It's packed with people with whistles!!

this happens to every single ferry set. i swear to god that shit pisses me off too, but what can we do? right?!

Who gives a sh!t. That guy/girl had probably a awsome time. I would do the same thing, whistle my ass off and who cares that some "nipwid" wants to download the set afterwards.

Hahaha, yea I hate whistlers....especially when they are right next to you...torture. It really does ruin the music I think. I don't really mind it that much in live sets that I listen to, but when I'm at a party, especially to see a really good dj, and you hear the whistleing OVER the music, that's no good. whistlers piss me off to the fullest But hey, if you like hearing yourself whistle instead of the music, go ahead, have a blast, I'll just be heading in the other direction

Um yeah whistles are annoying but it's not like everybody there should stay reserved so people on the other side of the planet can have a good quality mp3 to add to their collection the next day.

Spend some money and go to Rosenmontag next time and you can stand next to the speaker and hear the set in it's pure form.

hey whistles are one thing- they can be annoying, but there is NOTHING that is as shitty as: 'oot oot'! i fucking hate this, and dont really mind the other ways of enjoying the music: listening, yelling, whistling, and my favorite - screaming obscenities! late/

there was this dude at a rave and he busted out his whistle, asked peepz around him if they minded, and nobody did so he went ahead and whistled. he was doing an excellent job whistling to the beat, so i actually liked it.....

yeah i was just going to comment about that damn whistle at rosenmontags.... and the ass with the whistle is ALWAYS right next to where they have the mic and/or are recording it from.

Its always the whistles in germany and the damn foghorns and whistles in england.... every single gatecrasher/ss set has the damn foghorns and whistles.... they really ruin it.

I have a video of the loveparade with a whistle being blown the whole time, and its so annoying! they should ban whistles and fog-horns from events

it's just like Spad said.....as if people are gonna hold back because there are people on the other side of the world that listen to the set on mp3 that wish to have a pure set!!!!! i mean..JEEZZ..that pisses me off

I can imagine that you people don't blow whistles at your local club..but have you EVER thought of the fact that a (European) festival/rave/houseparty is completely different party-wise than the clubs you guys go to???

And luckily out here people still have the freedom to party as they wish without other to prevent them from doing it

If I were at a party wanting to blow my whislte or honk my horn or whatever and you would say smth about it i would so laff you in your face!!! Why not accept the situation (and the people) for what it is and try to get used to it!!

Here in Holland there's a whole lotta Heeeee-Hooooooooo going on, even though this is different, cuz it's mostly newbie-wannabees that make this sounds...but hey...let people party the way they want to and stop worrying about whether it's going to affect your general impression of that pary!!

And in this case: pffff....it's a goddamn mp3..it's not like you had to listen to them whistles all fucken night!!!

Funny that you mention this. In january when i saw Paul Van Dyk @ at space miami there was this retarted soul standing next to me with an FUCK'N airhon and a whistle. This guy just wouldn't stop. I wanted to take the whistle from his mouth and beat him with it. It can be so frustrating when your enjoying the music and you have an idiot blowing a horn next to you.

fuck yeah it's annoying...some people are trying to have fun with the whistles and horns, but don't realise how annoying and distracting it is to other people...but basically its all in the atmosphere

yeah i'm not losing any sleep over it proxi.

i am just saying that its bloody annoying. and whether on MP3 or live, it would piss me off if there's some arse next to me that won't let off..... its like "jeez, smoke a cigarette or something!" and if you HAVE to blow the damn whistle sometimes, blow it to the rhythym at least... or better yet blow it to the "Blow My Whistle Bitch" DJ Alligator song... thats what that song is made for...

And yeah i heard that ass at Space @ PvD in miami too.... i couldn't find the ass but he wouldn't stop... INDOORS. i got yelled at for having little rave lights for doing liquid, this guy goes to AUTOZONE and buys a damn foghorn and gets away with it all night....

Over here it's not allowed to bring those horns into clubs or raves...thanks god..outdoors OK..but indoors it really is way too loud...
But the PvD @ GC SSS set is great!!! I think the airhorns really add to the greatness of this set, as I'm imagining how much fun these peeps must be having
ANd 2 u ABT: well, if it's constantly blown "out of the beat" it would be annoying i guess....but hey...i was at Rosenmontags and i didn't haer a thing!!! Mebbe it's better if you guys come down here to listen to these sets live! Cuz if you dance close enuf to the speakers you won't hear any extra sounds hehe

It doesn't matter what country I'm in, weather I am in a festival or a rave or a club, whatever. If I can hear the whistle over the music, that's no good
