Exclamation Insomniac Crew (Open 12 AM to 6 AM)

Fuck, it's 1 AM and I'm staring into a bright computer screen in my near pitch black room. I can't sleep.

Who else is a hopeless insomniac? Post!

Posted by babyvsrhino on Oct-01-2006 05:02:

I'm typically awake until 2 am nightly, then spend some more time laying in bed staring at the ceiling.

I am major insomniac, but there is a bonus to it because it helps me to find time to party, work and spend time with my wife and daughter.

The longest I went without sleep is two weeks. It gets crazy when you run out of energy feeling like passing out and instead end up laying in bed staring at the cieling with eyes wide open feeling you asleep while being awake.

Bump.

I forgot all about this thread. Actually, I slept on it.

Now I'm up all night again.

I'll be up for a while because I took a 4 hour nap after work today.

I hate when I'll pass out at 6am and then at 7:30am my daughter is right on top of me telling me its almost time for me to take her to school. And once that door is open to the bedroom, 12 paws walk into the bedroom, jump on the bad and start the morning face licking treatment. (mind that the cat and the one of the dogs are both bold.)

Ambien doesnt work for me. When I take it I can fall asleep but I cant STAY asleep. Recently I was awake from Nov 22 through Nov 26th with only a 2 hour nap in between. Passed out while sitting up on the couch at some point. During the work week I find that smoking 2 really fat blunts right before I go to bed will help somewhat but I still wake up at random hours of the night and toss and turn.
