k, i need your guy's opinion FAST!!!

so heres the situation. i bought my djm1000 for 1300 dollars, yup thats right for that cheap. im thinking about selling the djm1000 and getting the djm800. why you ask? because with the left over money i'll have enough to turbo charge my car withing 2 weeks. i also sold my turntables since i havent bought vinyl in over 5 months and they have just been collecting dust. what do you guys think? keep the djm1000 or go with the djm800. both mixers have great digital sound and all that. what do you guys think?

I say sell it, I'd personally prefer an 800 over the 1000 anyway, and since I am a car enthusiast, I say you should turbo your car if thats one of your other hobbies.

Also, what car are you turboing?, and if cars are not your hobby then I would stay away, a good turbo setup and tuning will run afew grand, and your car will not last as long, but they can be oh so much fun.

i'll be boosting a 2002 civic, and no im not a ricer.

full custom turbo has been in the works for a while. custom turbo piping, t3/t4 hybrid, crower stage 2 cams and springs, ported head, etc etc. will be a very healthy kit and my engine will me ready to handle it. i'll also be pushing only 3-4psi for the daily drive. nothing more.

i was thinking of that, but my parents bought me my car and it has been fully payed off this month. i dont want to tie myself down with 300-400 bucks a month and i dont want my parents to worry about if i'm making my payments or not especially since they just bought a few more restaurants.

Are you mixing six tracks at once?

Why is the option of turbo charging your car a deciding factor on what mixer you will use? Shouldnt it be determined by what suits your mixing needs first?
