my prediction:

Yankees over Tigers in 3
Twins over Athletics in 5
ALCS
Twins over Yankees in 6
NLDS
Mets over Dodgers in 5
Padres over Cardinals in 3

Mets over Padres in 5
World Series
Twins over Mets in 6
yeah wow the Cards barely held on to make it, not feeling too confident about them.
Ill make predictions later but we may have another subway series 
American League:
Yankees over Tigers in 4.
Twins over A's in 3.
Yankees over Twins in 6 (perhaps 7...depends on if Johnson is available and not pitching like his alter ego BIG USELESS self)
National League: (couldn't care less who goes to the WS since the AL is taking it all again anyway, but...)
Dodgers over Mets in 5 (where are you Pedro?)
Padres over Cards in 4
Dodgers over Padres in 6
World Series:
Yankees over Dodgers in 5 (we can stop booing Arod now please)
Alright, I started on the set-up of the pool ... will have it ready by wednesday afternoon. I cant believe there's only two people interested in playing this year so far ...
Come on Shamez - you promised me last year you'll play if your Mets will make it, just see the 2005 Official MLB thread on Page 12 of this forum ;-) And others, including the defending champ dj2kta, and then Protege, 3rd place finisher ;-)
I dont count myself even though I'll participate, I am only comparing my picks to yours, and if I finish first it doesnt count, in that rare case the "second place" finisher will get the prize. I just want to see as usual if I can make better picks ;-)

Im hopin for a Subway Series to occur like in 2000 and im still rooting for the Mets.
But as much as i hate saying this... betting against the Yankees = Subway Series.
It has happened before and it might happen again.
