HAHA! dude are you kidding man...Jenny is phucking BOMB!! I was tryin to spit game but she has a boyfriend...and was very hard to get at. So I just left the meat alone
I never dj'd with a cat named danny but I think the name may have struck me somewheres along the line. I usually spin at Axis in Katy. Ive done Clarks and Prague a few times in downtown but nothing huge though. Im tryin to see if I can get out more cuz in Katy its just the same old people over and over again. Even though I dont really have a massive collection of vinyls (and with no experience whatsoever on cd-to-cd mixing) they still manage to get a groove on while i spin. Plus, 21 hours is killing me right now at UH. I had 15 hours that didnt transfer from UT so now Im rushing to get those out of the way in one semester. I dont like the way they teach at UH though man. Its like the're just trying to move all the kids along with the crowd, regardless of grades or whatever. Not much attention is put on by the professors as I thought it would.
But yea man, this is a small world after all. I'll have to tell Jenny about my encounter
c/p

axis ive never heard of the spot. n e good ? id like to come see u play sometime... but yea man... sry 2 hear about the uh thing. that place is starting to seem more like an overgrown community college... but o well just hold on n itll pay off. best of luck with that.
i looked @ ur profile and you have this pic of u (im assuming) djing @ the terrace in miami !
u gotta tell me the story behind that. i bet that was exciting.

lol ya alot of people think thats the terrace, which i pray everyday that i hope one day i can spin there. Thats actually a club in Puerto Rico that I dj'd at in 2005. It almost has the same layout as Space except that its waaay smaller inside lol.

ahh the setup was amazing. I was suprised that PR actually had that kind of a scene. PR's really getting into the whole underground european thing as far as dance clubs. I think after Armin hit the island last year everyone's been putting in the effort of making the club scene there a little more exciting. We have a beachhouse in Rincon, PR (voted Travel Channel's Best Surf Spot) and when I go to PR in the summers I always set up my turntables in front of the beach, wait for the sunset, and bust out the beach vibes. Last summer I was actually surprised. I had about 10 people show up in front of me; some just chillin' on the sand and others dancing. Maaan that felt like Cafe Del Mar dude. It's an incredible feeling.
I'll have to dig up the playlist i played at Hacienda D.H. Unless I've got it confused with this past summer's playlist, I believe I started that set with Agnelli & Nelson - Shiver (Mike Shiver Mix) and ended it with Envio - Touched By The Sun.
