DJ Mag award ceremony 25th Oct

never been to one of these before, would have loved to have gone last year but always a hassle mid-week. Now im living in London no excuse tho

think it's at Fabric this year but not sure.

Anyone else considering going?

Posted by GBPVD on Oct-02-2006 17:39:

Will probably go. Last years was quality. PvD, Armin, Above and Beyond for free. Well worth the feeling of roughness at work the next day!

Posted by sykadelik on Oct-02-2006 17:43:

Yes, I'm going to try and get Thursday off for this.

Somebody mentioned earlier that the chance of hearing PvD bang the fuck out of the Fabric soundsystem is too good to miss.

Knowing it's at Fabric, I'd be amazed if any trance DJs at all are on the lineup this year....

MoS doesn't normally have trance lineups either does it? they'll make an exception for this since it won't be the typical fabric crowd attending.

Who's playing? I'm pretty sure it is at Fabric.

And to hear some trance or similar on the Fabric system would be awesome.

Hope you're right but I'm not holding my breath.....

Posted by slinkyhead on Oct-02-2006 21:49:

normally they release the names of some of the djs beforehand but not all. I'm sure there will have to be some trance esp the amount of trance djs in the top 100 and top 10

says Oct 25th on the djmag website....

"Make sure youre at our exclusive Top 100 DJs bash at Fabric on Wednesday 25th October to find out the results.

Quality DJs representing the entire spectrum of dance music will be playing across three rooms, so its going to be one helluva party!"

I can guarantee you a DjMag party..Last year the party @MoS was my first party in UK and I can't tell you in words how amazing it was. Armin,PvD,Above&Beyond in small box, Desyn,Zabiela and others in the main room. I could not even move to get a bottle of water from the small box till morning. The sets were amazing..Only disappointment was seeing Armin on third again but I really hope to see him first this year at Fabric! I'll be probably there if I won't have assignments...Don't miss this party guys, let's be there!!

Sander Van Doorn is supposedly playing and I think Magda might be as well.

Posted by spacetrain on Oct-06-2006 19:14:

Am I right in thinking this will be the first time trance has been played in Fabric? Would love to go to this but start a new job in a few weeks. Fabric is a sensational club nothing beats that room 1 soundsystem.

5 October 2006

Sander would like to thank everybody that voted for him in this years DJ Mag Top 100 poll. We are still unsure what position Sander has entered the Top 100 at but having been contacted by DJ Mag with lots of questions about his year and being asked to play at the results party at a secret location in London we are expecting it must be good! The results party takes place in London on Wednesday 25th October, for more info go to www.djmag.com.

I was told on very good authority yesterday that it'll be Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn and the Flash Brothers playing at the DJ Magazine Top 100 party.

(looks like I'll be eating my words from my previous posts )

Posted by dj_mdma on Oct-11-2006 19:57:

I'll be there definately. There will never be a time to hear PvD, Armin, SvD and the like play on the Fabric soundsystem. A once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

It's published media as a whole that is seeing it's revenue tumble.

Sounds as though it's not done and dusted yet although I would have said it doesn't look too promising!
