Rotterdam?!?

Hi!

How is the clublife in Rotterdam. Just wondering because it looks like I will be spending the next semester at the Erasmus UNiversity.
Any big stuff going on in the autumn, any big Dj's?

Rotterdam is not so great to live when you like to see many good parties with great djs!

There are a few well known clubs, and this city host the best club of Holland... Now&Wow. That's a very trendy club but the music is funky techno, so not really what a TA wants

You need to know i don't go out in R'dam much. And when i do, it's not really my kind of party.

Nice for you to know is that every month there will be a student party named 'Dance Again'. Those are great parties and i know 25 April Johan Gielen is coming! They always have big names, and the resident dj is also great! So if you like it small, and trancey thats about the only place i know in R'dam!
Nightown is another club, but thats mostly techno. Good admosphere though.

Holland is very small, so you can always travel by public transport or car to another city! For instance The Hague, that's only half an hour drive, and that city host a very nice club... The <>!!
I don't know when you will be here but 20 April Armin will play there for 5 hours SOLO.... need i say more???

whatever you do, just don't go to hollywood, it sucks! the only reason i come there is because i aint 18 yet and i can't get into other clubs. (for some reason i look very young)
In fact, youre a complete loser if you go there if you're 18 years or older.

I've been to Nighttown once on thursday evening and i would say i've enjoyed myself. Ok it's only once but i'm only 16, so going out in R'dam isn't that easy for me (when you live in Delft).
But enjoy your stay in r'dam.

Rotterdam sucks hard.......you want a fucked up night -----> go to Rotterdam..........

Ja gheghe wel als je een heel concert weg geeft bij een bushalte IN DE SNEEUW..of ben je dan gewoon GEK :-)?
Zi eje wel, der komen alleen kindjes van 17 jaar en jonger.....Rotterdam is officieel "kleuter uitgaans stad" geworden.........HOUSEEUUHHH

On the 4 of april, we have our own PACHA. That's right, one of the phattest clubs in the world, right here, in my own Rotterdam.

ja alleen jammer dat ze er een hele chique club van willen maken voor de wat "oudere" mensen. 30+ 'ers.
ik weet niet hoe oud jij bent maar ik denk niet dat veel mensen van deze site er iets te zoeken zullen hebben.


voor de rest is rotterdam op muzikaal gebied goed bezig en heeft het zeer veel te bieden. het is alleen wel voornamelijk techno wat de stad te bieden heeft. met speedy j en secret cinema heeft rotterdam 2 van neerlands beste producers in huis. ook op electro-gebied speelt rotterdam een grote rol. (Clone)

off corso (op zaterdag de ON-feesten.. techno, tech-house & progressive)
nighttown (vrijdags Future, zaterdags ook wel eens wat leuks te doen. voornamelijk techno & tech-house)
now&wow (club, deep-house en allerlei funky shit)
waterfront (techno, tekno, drum n bass & acid)
calypso (worden vaak de EOS-feesten gehouden.. techno dus)
bootleg dj-cafe (techno, het opkomende talent krijgt hier de kans om voor publiek plaatjes te draaien)


tja, en als je trance wil horen zou je naar Hollywood kunnen gaan.. er wordt alleen ook rnb en andere hitlijsten-rommel gedraaid. (pedo-pas verplicht!)
..of natuurlijk naar de ski-hut.. daar willen ze ook nog weleens een trance-hitjes draaien!

Ik had juist gehoord dat pacha voor 23 en ouder was, tiesto draait op de opening. Weet niet of dat wat voor 30 plussers is, tenminste de wat oudere 30 plussers.

kweenie hoor, maar is de ministry of dance(voorheen A20 ofzo) niet in r'dam. hoorde ik van iemand op het inet gisteren, en die von het wel een kewle tent... werd ook trance gedraaid... als het wat is laat het dan die buitenlander even weten.. ik weet namelijk niet oft wat is of niet...

ja klopt, die heb je ook nog, tis niet altijd even leuk en echt druk is het ook niet. Wel zeggen ze dat binnenkort paul van dyk komt draaien, en sven vath ook, maar dat zeiden ze een tijdje geleden al. Hij gaat wel sluiten en in plaats daarvan komt een sport centrum geloof ik.

Volgens mij is Ministry of Dance niet zo kick. Ten eerste ligt best stukkie uit centrum vandaan (heb er schoolfeest gehad keer) en ik hoor eigenlijk er nooit wat over.
