Are these monitors worth the money?

I have a friend at work that does music production and has the following for $150 US.

Alesis Monitor One
RA-100 Amp

He wants $150 US for everything. I don't have any monitors at the moment - all I use is some Sennheiser headphones...

I don't want to spend too much money right now. Are these worth the money?

if it fits into your budget, i would say go for it. i think you will enjoy mixing on this more than just mixing on headphones.

don't expect crazy bass tho... the woofers on those things are kinda small.

They're not the most accurate one's out there, but at that price yes they're worth it..
