Man. It seems all my TV time is going to be taken up watching sports.
But yes. I have high hopes for the Raps this year. Maybe even 35 wins!
Roster looks prety fresh.
Could go far, but hey...I say that every year.
I am *hyped* for this season!
I boldly predict a 6th place finish in the conference...that's right...6th. I'll even take any even-money bet that they at least make the playoffs.
While I don't thin Bargnani will start, imagine how a big lineup of Bosh-Nesterovic-Bargnani is going to be a nightmare matchup for virtually every team in the league. Sick!
For the first time in Raptor history, there is DEPTH on this roster...we also have a pass-first, quick PG...and some serious athletes on the team. Defense is still a bit suspect with no premier shot blockers or crazy defenders, but their athleticism and quickness should compensate enough.
My pick for the player who will most surprise and impress everyone...Fred Jones.

Looks like Jeff closed the other Raptors thread
Anyways, Raps win again. That's 5 out of last 7.
All against rather weak Eastern conference teams, but it's a sign that the Raps are putting it together and gelling well as a team.
Bargnani is definitely showing signs that he's worthy of a #1 pick. Garbajosa is showing he's a versatile player, doing a bit of everything well. Ford is dishing out assists like candy. Teams are getting better at stopping Bosh, but he still scores avg 20 pts and 10 rebounds every game.
Only player who's not doing well is Fred Jones... Hopefully he'll get over his slump soon.
Defence is still questionable. A lot of easy buckets given up against the Knicks.
Raps make clutch plays and win 2 on the road.
TJ Ford is on fire. First the buzzer beater to beat the Clippers Wed and tonight carried the Raps during OT and makes the assist to Bargnani who sinks the game winning bucket.
This is nice, and all without Bosh too
that game was stressful.
woke my entire family up yelling at the tv.

6 wins out of 8! Only 3 wins below 500.
And another winnable game against the Jazz tomorrow.
Honestly, how many teams in NBA have a point guard combo like Ford and Calderon?
Bosh being out for 12 games may have been a blessing in disguise b/c Raps learned how to play without Bosh going 6-6. It means overall confidence is higher for the team to not rely on star player all the time.
What is up with Fred Jones? He's like the only Raptor to play very poorly.
Raps at #9 in Hollinger's ESPN Power Rankings...

^^^ I love the Raps lineup right now...but that's just ridiculous, lol.
It's nice to see Graham and Bargnani doing better and better...
Holy fuck watching the Raps is so damn unpredictable.
Honestly. They play so shitty against really shitty teams.
Thank goodness the Hornets ran out of gas in 4th quarter and Bosh again saves Raptors with some clutch plays by Calderon. Down 15pts mid 4th quarter and made a comeback.
I don't know why the Raps don't go inside. And pass the ball to Bosh every possession when jumpers don't work.
Next game fri against Celtics. Pierce may be back but another winnable game.
Last 11 games 8-3. One game away from .500
