Ok, so it's in LA... then why in the blue fuck are you promoting this event on boards designed for the other side of the country? Promote your event in the West Coast boards and stop spamming the ATL/Southeast ones.

We get people from all over the world coming to our little club and there is nothing wrong with letting people know in texas or germany for that matter.

There are separate regional forums for a reason: regional discussion about the scene in the respective region. This extends to shows, in fact, that's pretty much the pinnacle. Promoters are allowed to advertise their shows, as long as they keep it in the correct regional forum. Advertising a show that's going on in LA here in Atlanta is completely useless; if someone in Atlanta is interested in a show in LA, they will go to the West Coast forums. In your case, you're merely spamming for spamming's sake. If every punter promoter from every region had no boundaries in where to advertise their event, you wouldn't have any regional discussion, thus making regional boards moot.

Try to think two layers deep. Oh, and close this thread, or else it will just end up that way sometime soon by the Atlanta mod, I can assure you.

hey hey, no need to yell at this kid for his ignorance. not his fault. unlike Bestbuy who continued to post in the wrong board repeatedly, that shit deserves yelling at. the first time should just be a gentle notice.

look we have rules here on the atlanta/southeast board. could you just abide by them?

jesus christ i've never seen people freak about stuff like on TA - chill out, i understand there are rules, but lets not represent the southeast by being a bunch of fucking assholes to people!

thanks for that. i know jc from out here in LA and he's relatively new to the boards. we get all kinds of stuff on our forum there so i'm sure he wasn't trying to spam up the southeast's. i read both b/c i wanna keep up with what's going on back "home" in atlanta. like someone said earlier, maybe let someone know what the rules are before jumping on them.
