Rate my supersaw
This is my latest supersaw attempt in Reason. I think it sounds fairly close to a real JP. It's more rich and less noisy than my previous attempts.

I don't really use this type of sound alot but it's fun reproducing it in Reason.
(By the way, sorry for not using more original melodies)
Awesome
Uuhhh...I really LOVED that sound!!
very pro quality IMO!
And that is done in Reason? Wow
I want also so powrful sounds...
awesome work eldritch!
man how long did that take to make? thats the best patch i have yet to hear from anyone!
Can tell us abit about how you creat such a good sound?
good job! Sounds almost like the real thing to me
That sounds spectacular.
I don't have much experience with Reason, but I always assumed it was real low end sounds.... I believe I have 'reason' to feel I was mistaken
when the filter is full open it's a bit thin. but nice sound for reason..
Works exceptionnally well for the Twisted melody

Ow my ears. Wasn't ready for the cutoff to open so fast lol. Needs little more mid-highs. Too much air.
hehe, it's good bro, I liked! just need to work a bit more on the filter envlope, it's not as pluckish as the JP one.
what did you made it with? 3 malstrom instances and a subtractor (usually what I've done in reason)?
anyhow, cool sound, would also love to know how you made it.
Nice one mate, maybe its my speakers, but when the filter is open it sounds a bit squarey? Or pulsey? I dunno, but here is my attempt. Perhaps you can tweak reason so it sounds like this.

I used two subtractors and 4 malstroms (Using mostly the Sawtooth*4 waveform) for this. The sawtooth*4 waveform phases alot but with the right shift and index values it sounds much better than the sawtooth*16 waveform.

That's a really nice sound, but not what I was after. I was going for a more gritty and rich sound. Your sound, while it does sound very good it is a bit smooth and white-noisy for my tastes. It does have a really warm sound when the filter is closed.
Whats the name of the tune that both those samples use?
In the original sample its the second harmony, in the "f*cking supersaws" one it's the only one.
So yeah, whats the tune?
sounds amazing nice tune

Isn't that Cygnus X - Superstring (Rank 1 Remix)? I love that track! Still gives me goosbumps
-R
the first tune sounds like Rank 1 - awakening
the last tune is by svenson n gielen - twisted energy
(johan gielen 11/11/05 dallas, tx)
Work on the eq, there is too much white noise when the filter opens up.
Omer
sounds like the 90's
sounds even more like the 00's
very impressive!
Eldritch, can you share the patch with us?
