New Label - Swordtail Records (Australia)

Hi all,
This is just a quick message to say that some time in the next few weeks a new label called Swordtail Records will be launching with our first release. The label is based in Australia and will be bringing you initial releases and remixes from artists including Native, Nick Galea, Daniel Gregory, Retroid, SATeN, Retrobyte and more.

The label will begin with some upfront digital releases available from stores like Resonant Vibes, Audio Jelly and 3 Beat and in the future will also be bringing out some top line compilations and singles in CD format. All releases will come with a variety of mixes to cover off different styles going from Electro through to Trance. Many of the releases will bring new and exciting vocal talents to the forefront.

Hi Bidor, Actually Swordtail is a type of small tropical fish, while the animal that killed Steve Irwin was a stingray. A very sad event and one that I would never try to cash in on or anything like that. Hope no one has taken this the wrong way.

We have added some info regarding DJ Support and feedback for SR01 (coming out later this month) to the release page (http://www.swordtailrecords.com/sr01.html), also it has been reviewed on progressivehouse.com, receving 9/10 (http://www.progressivehouse.com/reviews.php/279) - early support coming from Micah, Matt Black, Chris Sterio, Clubbervision, Guillaume Nyckees, Eve Falcon
