that's just my question, can you make the code for your sig so, that you can use php in it, like in a thread?

Posted by flystyler on Mar-16-2002 20:41:

Well why dont you just try it

Posted by DJ Bazz on Mar-17-2002 19:14:

I have tried it and it doesn't work
thats why I posted this thread

Why would you want php in your sig? to do what?

Posted by DJ Bazz on Mar-18-2002 10:26:

So i can link it to my own site and get for example get the last 10 vinyls I bought in my sig, like those things
but i think there aren't that much users who can use PHP in this forum

Posted by Swamper on Mar-19-2002 04:45:

There is *NO* forum that would let you execute php - php is server based and having any user run their own code is not a smart move.

The only way to do what you want is to set up php on your end to put values into a

If HTML was allowed in the sig (which it isn't, because some idiots like embedding audio/javascript/popups) then you could set up a borderless IFRAME to the page with your vinyls.

Yep it's right what you say about the PHP, but that about html, there seems to be a PHP-function, dunno what it's called, that will filter the html from a post

Its a really good idea, but not really "safe." There are a whole lotta great application for PHP in your sig, but honestly, what so hard about updating and shit like most non-efficient human beings?

hehe my thought exactly

but what about linking flash images similarly to [img] tags.

because flash images are usually much smaller in size...

It's was also a question if it was possible to make it so!
Just wondering!
